Thought I just put this here as well for those that may be interested.

Just received a very nice message from Luke Koan regarding MMM Volume one.

Quote:
I've finally finished your book, and I would like to take the chance to thank you. This book is by far the beat I've read in a very long time. I caught myself thinking "that goes straight to my act" so many times I don't actually know what's going to stay. You were right, by the way: your take on the Q&A is worth the price of the book alone. So again thanks for sharing this.....I'll buy the second tome soon!

Thanks Luke.

And if you haven't got your copy of volume one yet, Lulu are offering an additional 15% discount off the already 20% discounted price until midnight on the 22nd of August. Here's the details followed by the link to the books where you can read more reviews and order your 35% discounted copy of volume one or if you've got it, save 15% on volume two and the new 'Retrospect Prophecy'.

Save 15% on orders of print books and calendars Use Code: ONEFIVE. Ends August 22nd at 11:59 PM

There is a "Matte Finish Cards" option.

Which one do you use?
Also what is "Matte Finish Cards"?

Thanks in advance.

Another Café member recommended in one post the Slight Gloss, Aqueous Finish, which is what I purchased. They handle very nicely. Very smooth and easy to execute the various moves taught in the book.

Matte finish is "dull and flat without a shine" according to Google dictionary. I also purchased cards with matte finish and they are not nearly as easy to work with initially, but do break in with a fair amount of use.

I just saw a review in Amazon. Does it "work" well with sharpie? Does it swipe of easily?

No issues with a sharpie and the slight gloss, aqueous finish. Once the spectator writes on the card, tell them to blow on it for a second or two. Once the ink dries, it doesn't smear with normal handling.

I have read through this thread off an on over the past year but held off on purchasing due to not really being interested in the metaphysical side to these effects (it is not my style) and with the price it pushed it out of the 'take a chance' purchase area even with all of the praise.

But returning to this thread, seeing the current sale going on and reading some of your reviews on Scott's other downloads (thank you for these by the way) I am seriously considering making a purchase of not only this book but some of his other books/downloads as well.

I have until December 1st before the deal ends so if anyone comes across any Lulu.com codes more than the current 15% please let me know.

Now to decide what to get...

Yup. I picked up both MMMs, as I'd been meaning to forever, and... I assume this will be the best price ever. With the 50% off and the Lulu 15% off was able to get both books, including tax and shipping for less than the price of one. I'm happy.

+ 1. You just can't go wrong buying a Scott Creasey release. They never disappoint. Not me, anyway. Everything is so well thought through. And so deceptive.

Just re-watched Hanussen's Demise the other day. The "invisible window" envelope is so good.

252life and Stunniger, thanks for your reviews of Scott's different items in various threads. In addition to both books I ended up getting 11 more downloads. Just watched the DIY-Ipad and it is great!

Happy to be of some help, and glad to hear you now have a large library of Scott's material. Truly some of the best mind reading educational content available anywhere.

I have almost every items that Scott published online except DIY-Ipad.

His stuff is practical, evolve and HONEST.

I checked with a few magician friends. When he performed his material, it's a fooler as well.

Scott's early pdf, they meant for general mentalist then they evolve to be more psychic approach. But always leave a room for your own ideas and script.

Hope that make sense.
