Ed why do you assume that ALL rednecks hate blacks, Jews, gays, women? Who told you they did?
Like I said early I don’t think you know what a redneck is other than your own set opinion of them. It’s not like you have to prove your hate towards others to become a redneck. They don’t give you a test. Just get you a couple of old rusty cars to put up on blocks in your front yard, stop cutting your grass, walk around with your shirt off, and it won’t be long until someone calls you a redneck. According to Jeff Foxworthy some of us here might be a redneck and just not know it. Tom

Ed you are unreal.
So until a group has a spokesperson you are ok worth being a racist. Got it. I hope you ate just trolling and we all are falling for it but that is probably giving you too much credit. But every racist saya "based on MY experience with (insert group they hate here)" and then continue on with stupid reasons for their beliefs and actions. You are worse than those you hate.

***** Sorry, what “race” is redneck exactly? I did forget Jeff Foxworthy, while his examples aren’t the brightest bulbs in the sign, they aren’t hate-worthy.

There is no term toward feeling negatively towards a group of people who are known to display negative actions towards minorities.
There may well be some wonderful neo-Mazis or skinheads out there, but that’s not going to be the norm.

You cannot attribute things to them based on their being rednecks. What you just posted is the same as Saying, "in my experience with Tamils, they are terrible drivers". Now this may not seem hateful to you, but it is a stereotyping- and it is what you are supposed to be against. But because you think rednecks are white, you think it's ok to stereotype the individuals. It isn't right |

So Ed you think it is intelligent to answer hate with hate. And when your particular brand of hate is the norm, then all is right with the world.
Got it. I REALLY wish you could develop a sense of Irony Ed.

It is just not right. As to any good Nazi past or present, I've never met one. But I have met many who are simply brainwashed and misguided. I have met many who left once they found this out. Once someone reached them with education and some emotion other than hate they saw it. All matching hate with more hate does is reinforce the misguided thoughts. This is why it is such a bad thing. You can not only accept good people. You can stand against what they do without hatred. You can show them how to be better. You as a loudly professed Christian saying hate is ok is literally shocking. Christianity professes this exact theory I am right now.

Not so easy to inwardly hear the sermon on the mount to guide ones actions.
It's a noisy world with pressing problems and great temptations to push when shoved. *history* The German National Socialists claimed they wished to do good for Germany. Road to heck and all that...

I agree with Danny, some people have been brainwashed and misguided and it may not have been all their fault.
I just find it very hard to judge ‘people’ without knowing anything about that ‘person’ Tom

Just because one finds it politically correct to hate some groups does not make it right to do so.

But if it is morally correct, then it is right.
Hate, which is an extreme manifestation of fear, is a perfectly natural response to the despicable. The idea that it's inherently corrosive, and wrong by default, is nonsense. It can be a spur to action, an extreme gut check, and clarity when you get tired of being nice to no effect. It's not about hating any group, or person. It's about the mindset, and the morality that informs it. We keep making the same fundamental mistakes, empires rise and they fall in the same way, so the question is - what are we refusing to examine? What keeps creeping back in to each attempt at a societal structure?
If you need fear to enforce your beliefs, then your beliefs are worthless.

You may also have read about a little thing called the flood, that eliminated all mankind except for those God saw worthy. Do you think He loved those He destroyed? If one wants to educate those who are educated it might be good to get some knowledge before sharing ignorance.
