Veteran trade show performer Charles McFarland and myself (Seth Kramer) are planning a one day trade show workshop in Tulsa Oklahoma on either April 15th or 16th. It will be a four hour event in a conference center in downtown Tulsa ( to be determined).

What Will You Learn?

This workshop covers a wide variety of topics about performing magic in a trade show environment. We will briefly discuss what a trade show is and why companies attend these shows and then go into detail about building an act, custom script development, how to get your foot in the door and sell yourself, setting pricing, dealing with clients (and which clients to avoid), and a no-holds-barred Q&A. Attendees will also have an opportunity to perform a routine of their choosing and learn how to tweak it for corporate presentations.

Your Instructors:

Seth Kramer
For the past 35 years, Seth has performed at more than 600 National and International trade shows. His clients include Praxair, Johnson Matthey, Clariant, Monsanto, ReadSoft, LexisNexis and many others. He is the author of the highly acclaimed, A Modern Trade Show Handbook, the new “Bible” of trade show magic performance.

Charlie McFarland
Charlie McFarland is quite possibly the most successful trade show performer you’ve never heard of. Charlie has been working constantly in the trade show market since 1985. He doesn’t advertise his services and doesn’t need to. Companies seek him out. Either they have seen him work or have heard about him from business associates and contact him to assist them with their trade show efforts.
His client list consists of several Fortune 500 companies such as Schlumberger, Dun & Bradstreet, Halliburton, Brown and Root, Exxon/Mobil, Texaco, Bell Helicopter, Continental Airlines, American Airlines, Baker Hughes, Compaq computers, and a host of smaller companies all over the world. Performances at exhibit halls in every major city in the United States as well as Canada, South America, England, Scotland, Norway, France, Germany, Italy, Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates, have kept him extremely busy for the last 33 years. All while holding down a full time job as an airline pilot for 30 of those 33 years!

I’ve had a few questions asked about cost for this workshop. Tuition is $200.00 payable in advance via PayPal to:Corpmagi@earthlink.net and includes a copy of my highly acclaimed ‘A Modern Trade Show Hamdbook’. Space permitting, cost will be $250.00 at the door payable via cash or credit card.

Such a bargin!

You Said "Charlie McFarland has been working constantly in the trade show market since 1985. He doesn’t advertise his services and doesn’t need to. Companies seek him out."

I have found this to be true of many top professionals.

Charlie is one of the best kept secrets in the trade show magic biz. He is a great magician, pitchman and knows a great deal about selling to and dealing with customers. He’s one of the few I’ve spoken to who enjoys the challenge of a ‘cold call’. I, for one, am looking forward to hearing his thoughts on this.

We have decided that the Trade Show Secrets Workshop will be held on Sunday April 15th from 12-4pm. We will be in a meeting space 15 minutes from the Tulsa Airport. I did a search on Expedia today and there are decent hotel rooms starting at $32.00/night should you decide to travel in for the event.
