I may be in Ontario, Canada, but Spring is here! There's a fly sitting on the outside window silly, catching some rays while streams trickle along either side of the road. Grass highly visible at my location!
I find Spring brings me real joy and I'm thankful, indeed. It's wonder-full. Take care. *make that outside window sill, "smart"phone. |

Starting to look that way here too. Spring time is the best time of the year for me. Love it.

Special for me this year. The town of Dandridge is deeding back to us the small parcel of land contain the "Good Spring"
that was the original water source for the community back in 1791. The original owners of our land gifted the parcel to the town so that they could build a water tower and pumping station. We have set up woodHenge Foundation to establish a historic monument and wildlife sanctuary -- no money yet, but the passion will win out. (Ever paint a rusting water tower?) The water tower will become a recording studio where a guitar can soar. So, now we get the flowers and flutterbies of the season, the chilling pure flow of this spring, and the eternal echoes that spring from the heart.

Punxutawney Phil would disagree! But what would he know? He's just an overfed, priveleged groundhog, living in a library! His favorite song, I hear, is "Spring Can Really Hang You Up the Most". Enjoy the sunshine, folks! And the rain, too! Lynn

Well, I'm going to play The Garden Song next week, anyway. I made a promo photo I think suits nicely. I made a few, actually, but I'm going with this one for now:

What instruments do you play? I just got my wife a nylon Taylor 412 to go with other fine wire guitars and harps.
It does have a different spring to it, just to stay on theme. PM OK.

Thank you for the question, Ken. I'm very thankful to have had music class offered in elementary and high school and stuck with it through grade 13. One of the most practical classes out there. I've played trumpet, clarinet, piano. Guitar for about 25 years (strum) but I'm still learning fingerstyle. I purchased the tin whistle a few years ago, as stated on the Makem and Clancy thread, and have just started seriously practicing it. I have an African drum and a harmonica I play by ear and would like to learn more technique on both of those. I've been singing for most of my life, which seems to be the way of many singers. A lot of my family members, are or were musicians in there time here, as well.
