Here's an example. One could do a linking rings routine as strictly a standup watch me do this stuff. Or one could have spectators help you find the special soft spots on one ring and do the links at those spots. Or get a kid up there beside you to follow along with you as you link and unlink the rings. But the kid is trying to do it with two rings that are permanently welded together, so he really cant unlink them. You don't notice he's having trouble unlinking them, and you just congratulate him on what a great job he is doing linking those rings together. The spectator involvement is what makes magic better than other performance arts.
