Interesting routine, like many other comments here I also prefer a bit of drama and seriousness when the razor blades are done, but this did suit his unusual style which I think deflected what he s doing..many here will remember Richiardis routine on TV specials in the 80s, his routine was done silent with the camera close up on him swallowing the blades then thread, the only music was a small ping when he slowly bought each blade out to a stunned silent audience..it was drama at its best to a huge round applause at the end. I also thought Paul Potassy used a bit of comedy and talking with his routine that is so well known.. I know Houdini did Needles but it was a highlight on the largest theatres.. each to their own, I love the Razorblades but don't use it in every show,..I use music everything from Seal to Kill Bill and Prodigy for Razorblades, I only work the corporate market but it certainly creates comments after the shows and audiences freak out but they do love the drama and suspense etc..my routine is based on Tim Ellis Ultimate Blades.
