I recorded this last week at Cave Hill Cemetary in Louisville KY. It's about 30 minutes and if you like stage illusions you need to watch as Lance Burton and Jim Steinmeyer perform a broken wand ceremony for magic inventor Thomas Topin.
It came 135 years late but a nice memorial service for magic inventor Thomas Tobin 1844-1883. Tobin disappeared from the magic world in the 1880's to settle in Louisville. For the past 135 years, Tobin lived in an unmarked and unknown grave in Louisville's historic Cave Hill Cemetery - until now. Thanks to Lance Burton and Jim Steinmeyer for decoding the mystery. https://www.facebook.com/dennisalm/ |

Very nice video memorium Dennis. I admire the way magicians preserve the history of magic through informative presentations like this one so they are not lost. Younger magicians take notes so you can be the ones giving the discourse years later when important people like Mr Steinmeyer are long gone.

Thank you, Dennis! Looking forward to watching this.
(Been interested in Thomas Tobin since reading about him in Steinmeyer's Hiding The Elephant. Shame he's not a relative ... that I know of.)
