This seemed to drop off the radar quicker than I expected.
Are people still liking and using it?

I think it was overrated and there are better cleaner ways of achieving the same effect imho Tarik 🙂

Thanks for the kind words Gaz, I appreciate you saying so.

I use it (obviously 😀), and it always gets a great reaction, the second phase gets gasps. I’ve used it at my gigs and at lectures.

I have made a cleaner version with a smart ass deck with no Svengali dribble which I much prefer but each to his own good luck with the project Gaz 🙂

We all stand on the shoulders of giants and any variation owes a debt of gratitude to the originator.

Chris has released a number of effects using this principle and for me this is the best and a great piece of close up mentalism/magic.

My good friend Iain Moran uses it and has given a me a few tips on how he’s adapted the presentation to maximise the revelations to the spectator. Great thinking.

Thanks Chris for releasing this as it now forms part of my set and I think it’s a real winner.

....i've set the deck up, and every time I cut the deck - it cuts to a non-force card and reveals the writing beneath. Lining the cards up by height the short cards are only a hairs breath shorter.

Perhaps you have a faulty deck because mine works perfectly. I even bought the necessary decks and made one up in Phoenix cards and it works perfectly too.
I even added Robson's where required so I could spread through the cards. I also rigged up a Hideout wallet for the final card(s) and really like what that adds to the routine. In case you can't already tell, I really love this effect.

I’ve never had that problem to be honest so not sure if a faulty pack. But when I perform it I dribble the cards and get the spectator to call stop, that works well especially if I’m working at a table I’ll get someone on the other side to call it.

I also sometimes set the cards in a shogun wallet too. Glad people are enjoying this, I get some amazing reactions from it, and almost kept it to myself.

The short card "sticks" to the surface of the card above it. I might have to build one with shorter "short cards" to get this to work

I’m still using the one I made before I released it which was from a bicycle short deck and a one way force deck. As far as I know that’s what they used when they made them too. Might be worth dropping Alakazam a quick message?

Just shave off a bit of the current short cards.
