. . . but RD doesn't lock. However in Real Cube both gimmicks lock.
Locking and non-locking gimmicks, both have their own pros-n-cons.

Able to show all 6 sides is definitely an advantage.

I really like the look of RD360 but I believe you have to either decide if you want to solve the cube or match it. You cannot have both unless you buy two RD360's. Is that correct?

I personally prefer solving it as that to me is more impressive to a lay audience as it takes them time to register that it just matches on every side ( which of course is a miracle in itself ) . If you can do a few routines then great but if only the one it’s great to solve a fully mixed up cube by your spectator imo Tarik 🙂

I agree. I just do not see the point of having the **** in the mixed state.

You can use a regular mini for matching cubes with RD or 360. I see no issue with the advertizing. It isn't saying there is a mini cube gimmick in 360

I own most of these cubes and have performed with them, here's my assessment:
ENCHANTED CUBE: Not a fan RUBIK'S DREAM: Prefer RD360 over it RD360: Really fun to have spec mix cube, put in bag and bring it out solved. RUBICON: Nice matching of mixed cubes and then one handed solve - good to finish with THE SOLUTION to have spectator solve. ISOLATED: If you don't want to learn some cube moves, then you'll need to pair this with EASY CUBE or RD360 for a nice routine. The signed cube in a jar is unbeatable! The only downside is it cannot be given away unless you're willing to buy refills at $46 a jar. With budget constraints, I would start with RD360. There are many included routines and the teaching is very well done. Not only that, you're taught a "one move" instant solve that looks really magical. Rubicon is a second great choice as it's a full fleshed out routine. It's quite expensive though. Finally, Isolated is my favorite because - signed cube in a jar! Come on! That's just impossible! |

I have the offer of buying Easy Cube or RD360. I have been told they practically do the same thing. Can anyone tell me what the best one to get.
