Static is a simple but Super effective levitation/suspension of a playing card. When creating this method Alan gave himself a few restrictions to make it as workable as possible in the real world. The effect had to be super visual but also easy to do so it was easily obtainable by any one, hobbyist and pros alike. It had be to performable from an ungimmicked deck that could be freely shuffled by the spectator and it had to be UN-GIMMICKED.

That's right, there are no threads magnets or anything else used in this routine. The only think you need is a deck of cards and you are ready to go

The card is free selection
The card is ungimmicked in any way
The routine is impromptu
Everything can be inspected before and after
There is no prior set up at all.

Interesting and promising effect. Nice.

Very cool. Reminds me of the third phase of VISA by Daniel Garcia. The two could possibly work well together.

Hello mate just bookmark the page that displays the video and you should have no problems mate.

I've just checked out highflyer. It looks cool but needs a gimmick.. thankfully with static there is no gimmick at play. I uses just a normal deck

Will this be sold through Penguin?

They cant looks right under the card but most other angles are covered.. it is as practical as you see in the demo.

I do like this. Easy to do and pretty much can be considered an impromptu effect. A lot of fun to practice as well!
