Hi all.
I am looking for a comprehensive overview of card magic/manipulation history, and I know there are some books on the topic. Does anyone know of good internet resources also? |

Maybe Card Trick Central, it has alot of good tricks, not sure if it has any history though.

What about on magic history in general?
when I get books I only seem to find history on the author

Well, try http://www.allmagicguide.com there are links on there about magic history websites and newsletters. Hope that helps.

Magictricks.com provides one of the best resources on magicians' biographies, inventions and real names. It is really nicely done so check it out you'll learn a lot.
