If I wish to make a custom devils Hank, where would I go?

HEE HEE HEE! Hey Jim! Very good advice! (Brief, and to the point!!!)
I imagine that Kelvin "might" be happier, though, if somebody would be a trifle more specific! Kelvin! If you will PM me with a bit more detail, I think that I'll be able to suggest "something"!

Suggestion: Get Devils Hanks in MATCHING PAIRS. Then you and your assistant can transport and swap items far apart across stage. You can come up with loads of routines using this.
Enjoy! |

Good thought, Bob! I have a few left from my lecture tours. There are some in a "powder blue", and, some red, and are about 20" square. They look like nice table napkins.
I'll let 'em go for $12.00 each, plus postage.

For custom, you should go to either, Fabric Manipulation or contact Jim Sisti (as his wife creates custom fabric items).
I have a set of fine black 15” gimmicked handkerchiefs (including a Devil’s Hank and Glorpy and others), which I am selling here: https://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/view......forum=76 FYI |

I know this is an old thread but a fellow magician just pointed it out to me.
I have created many custom design hanks (single and double pocket). Some of my custom work and designs can be seen here: https://www.devilshank.com/bespoke |

A shout out to excellent customer service from Richard Hughes!!
I purchased one of his Devil's Hanks nearly 3 years ago. It was one of those "I'll have it when I need it" purchases. I only used it a few times in the last 3 years, with no issues. But when I used it a couple of days ago (to vanish a coin), I later discovered that the coin had slipped down into the main area of the hank, between the two sides. Investigation discovered an open seam in the gaff area. Just a little bit longer than a half dollar. It appeared to be an area when the fabric pulled itself out of the stitching and, possibly, the hank had been that way since I received it. It was along a vertical side, about in the middle. So, it was simply "bad luck" that the coin fell through it this time. At any rate, I sent a photo of the open seam to Richard. Lickity split, Richard responded that he was going send me a replacement. He shipped the replacement the next day (today). Absolutely first rate customer service and after nearly 3 years!! THANK YOU, Richard! Mark

That is a great testimony to Richard's integrity. I'm afraid that as a craftsman and a gentleman he is among a vanishing breed in this world.

Hi, trying to make a double pocket devil hank.
Satan hank, Japanese style, has two pockets at each opposite diagonal corners. I feel this is best for table work. I m more geared towards two pockets openings on the same ridge. If I m looking at the top of the square hank, should pockets (no sash) be: A: square B: triangle with the the diagonal pointing at the middle of the hank C: triangle with the diagonal pointing to the side? Thanks VG |

I was suggesting you take a look at the double one that Lee Alex makes ( https://www.devilshank.com/product-page/double-devil ) , but if you're looking to make your own I'll have to leave that to others to give you advice as I don't sew. |
