I recently read The Apparitionists by Peter Manseau and it inspired a ton of ideas. The book tells the story of early photography and William Mumler, a photographer who started the Spirit Photography craze and eventually saw trial over it. I have a builder friend who I am thinking about having build a custom Daguerreotype with gimicks in place. I have some ideas, however I open the floor to what concepts people bring to a routine based upon Mumler's camera.
