Tim Star is in sweden now and I heard that he did some magic in Norrkoping, sweden at local magic club.
He is still performing magic Smile

Hi Bill!
I will do that.
He was the first swedish magician I saw that did "real" magic in my eyes.
I know he will meet Christer Nilsson, a famous swedish magic editor and collector of old magic props, books etc.
He has all nordic magic books in his swedish magic archive. Swedish Magic Archive: http://welcome.to/magiarkivet (some text is in english)

I did a show with Tim back in the 1970's at a TAOM convention in Dallas. He made EVERYTHING he used in his show, except any birds he was using (I'm not sure whether he did anything with birds in that show!). This means his table, his rings, his costume, EVERYTHING!

You might also consider Cellini cups. I think they are made in Austria. Heavy, can take a beating and medium priced.

Gazzo cups are bulletproof too, heavy and great for final loads.

I own a set of Johnson cups. Great cups!!
I also have a set of Charlie Miller cups I purchased
from Stevens years ago. I just recently purchased
a used set of Paul Fox cups made by Jeff Busby.
Waiting to receive those.
