Hi All: Longtime Abbott's employee Mike "Gordon" Miller has had a stroke and is not doing all that well. He is currently in an assisted living facility. Get well wishes to Gordon Miller can be sent in care of Abbott's Magic, 124 St. Joseph Street, Colon, Michigan 49040.

Gordon has been the MC of Abbott's GetTogether programs many times over decades, not to mention all the magic many of us have purchased from him over the Abbott's counter or on the Abbott's telephone. He is also the former Editor of The New Tops Magazine and a walking encyclopedia on all things magic.

All our best wishes, thoughts and prayers to you Gordon!

Gordon was onstage after an introduction by BJ Mallen. He motioned and the traditional banners fell down on Wednesday night. Thank goodness I had paid close attention the last couple of years as Gordon and I set them up so I could set them on my own. He stayed backstage the entire first half watching the entire first half before moving into the house to watch the rest of the show. He was there the next night also.
He looked a little more frail but really pretty good. Marilyn, his wife, said all the prayers did help without a doubt.
