Is this possible, like David Copperfield did in his trick 'Snow'?
He showed a silk/foulard on both sides, then produced a snowstorm from it, that looked like it was propelled by a fan. Is this on sale, or something like it, that allows you to produce a snowstorm from something other than the usual fan? Thanks. Sam |

Copperfield's "Snow" came from Kevin James. Try http://www.kjmagic.com and look for "Snow Animator"

On the website, it says that the trick uses a box. I don't seem to remember Copperfield having a box in his version of 'snow'? (I could be wrong, though!)
Thanks. Sam |

I didn't say Kevin's latest variation was exactly what Copperfield originally used but the core concept is the same: Massive amounts of "snow" from apparently nowhere.
It seems Kevin felt that building the hardware into a gift box was easier than custom rigging the stage, and better fit the general buying public's needs. After all, not all of have Copperfield's budget. If you don't like the box idea, contact Kevin directly. Maybe he can help you decide what is best for your specific requirements.

Magicsam,
David's version of snow is a bit more complicated than it looks. It requires exact lighting and a stage set up. Also, it is not for sale and is proprietary. David started with Kevin's idea and it was developed further to the routine you saw on TV. Kevin's version is one of the THE most practical. Do the right thing and buy it from him, even if you think you know how it works. He did the research on it and deserves the recognition. Sincerely, David

...and like I said earlier, Kevin's current version isn't the only version. If you don't like the gift box concept, like any gift, that's just the packaging.
