Hi all,
Tell me in what ways do you use a confetti cannon, or a streamer pistol in your magic show, or how have you seen them used?
Thanks.

I saw JT "BUBBA" Sykes use a confetti mike (I think he sells them) in a show, it was to emphasize a point, and get a reaction.

I would think that Shock value, or misdirection would be the main use for this, unless you wanted to use it like a puff of smoke, and have something appear or disappear in the confetti.

P.S. Welcome to the Café. It's a really Great place to learn and fellowship.

Thanks Steve for the welcome!

I saw someone use the confetti cannon as a bomb in a straight jacket escape act once, the clock was ticking down, adding pressure to the escape, the performer escaped but the "bomb" went off anyway - shooting streamers/confetti, it was neat looking. This routine may belong to the performer who did it, so I wouldn't go doing it, until I found out for sure about public domain, but I was just wondering how else have these been used with magic or gospel illusions.

These can be some great tools of misdirection. But I am sure you already knew that.

I use 2 confetti canons from Streamer Effects International at the end of my snowstorm routine. It is a powerful surprise ending.
The cannons from Streamer Effects are a little more expensive then some-but totally reliable. They supply canons for all the big name music acts. Great effect-but a little messy to clean up after.
