I've just posted the June 2018 update to the Magic Book Table of Contents page at https://magicref.net/magicbooks/
This page lists over 4,000 magic book tables of content.

One of the new additions is a complete table of contents for David Goodsell's & Larry White's "The Complete Oracle". The Oracle magazine was put out in the 1980's and contains a ton of great Bizarre magic, articles, and ideas. (tip - hit Ctrl-F on the contents page and just enter "goodsell" as your search criteria). The complete collection is available at Lybrary.com, and I would highly recommend it. I'm not even into bizarre magic, but the idea of storytelling in magic is one that is highly under-used and should be studied by us all. There is a lot of stuff in there I would never use, but that doesn't mean I can't learn from it.

Chris's Lybrary site lists the contents, but for my list I've gone page by page through the PDFs and added descriptions of every effect.

Hope this helps someone!

This monumental project is incredible, A lasting record for the ages.

Most impressive! Thank you for sharing and drawing it to our attention.

The memory of the Oracle deserves to be remembered. It too was monumental.

Hi Doug,

What a superb piece of detailed work and a great companion for anyone who owns or is thinking of buying The Complete Oracle.

Also, many thanks for highlighting the availability of David Goodsell's & Larry White's work. I wasn't aware that this fine collection was available as a pdf eBook from Lybrary.com. For me it's a no brainer, so I have just bought it. 1577 pages...months of reading...just incredible!!!

I am proud to have contributed to this fine collection. My signature piece, "The Die is Cast," appears in Volume 2, No.1, and purchasing it is the only legal way to perform my routine (for those so inclined to memorize the patter).

Of course, my paltry submission pales in comparison to all the other fine routines that makes up this work of love for storytelling magic. $35 for a PDF of all the issues is a STEAL for the great material contributed by the finest minds in the field (several who are no longer among us).

The art of magic is more that just having a participant pick a card and then proceeding to reveal it in an unusual way. When you are ready to take your magic to another level, read through the Oracle and permit it to inspire you to rethink your current presentations. Your audiences will thank you.

Thank you for adding this.

David and Larry created a wonderful magazine and incorporated online content to expand it, the first print magic periodical to do so as a standard feature

You do have a typo your post.

Oracle was published from 2006 - 2008 not the 1980s.
