A fantastic tool. Extremely useful and inexpensive. Makes the work of peeking easy. Sudo has done it again.

Yup. Sudo and I talked a couple months ago, and when he showed me the peek in action, I remember thinking: "Okay.... so what was this about doing a peek?" This thing is devilishly clever.

What a gift this is!!!!!
I watched through this and I cannot believe how simple, direct, straightforward, and fair this peek is. Sudo does have a knack of creating/meshing methods that are inherently justified. This peek is no different. To me, this is one of the best ways to peek. It even beats the peek wallets for me assuming one can justify the bandana, which is the easiest of props to include. Personally, the gem in the video is the casual style of teaching Sudo adapts and all the insights he shares. I have been following his work for some time but seeing him 'lecture' really solidifies what I already know: Sudo understands performance. Thank you Sudo for sharing this gift. And I cannot wait to go out and try the bandit peek. PS: The Gypsy Switch is a great bonus as well. It is very smooth!! |

The Bandit reminds me of Viva Zapata, ha ha. He always had a bandana for many uses and an encounter with him was devastating. This peek and the Gypsy is all of that. They flow so well and will never be spotted. Bandit is a full peek with all the time in the world to get it and the move is poetry.

My brain is just hardwired differently, that's all. Believe me, there's many days I wish it weren't. I was (unintentionally) a thorn in all my teachers' sides growing up for constantly arriving at the proper answer, but by completely different means than what was being taught. When it comes to creating things in the Mystery Arts, I don't set out to be deliberately creative. It is more a matter of noticing elements that don't fit together perfectly or logically and replacing them with ones that do in an effort to create harmony. I don't know how else to explain it, but these things stick out like sore thumbs to me - I can't help but see them. Likewise, I often see the hidden jewel inside what others dismiss and almost instinctively know how to exploit the beautiful idea in some new way. Very often, this also means matching it up with the proper 'picture frame' to give it new meaning. A quote on this subject is apt here: "It's funny how the beauty of art has so much more to do with the frame than the artwork itself." - Chuck Palahniuk, Choke I wish I had a better answer, but I don't know how to explain what I do. I don't question 'how' I do it. I suppose the best answer I can give is that I am acutely aware of patterns? Maybe even more important to the whole process, is that I actually believe in Magic and try to imagine what this would look like if I were really doing this for real. I think the better one can visualize this concept, the more it will inform their thought processes and creativity. Again, I don't have an answer and I don't really view what I do as 'special' - it's just how I operate naturally. The fact of the matter though, is that I stand on the shoulders of giants who have come before me. We all do - it's how things advance in this world. Hopefully one day my work might inspire someone else along a similar path. For me, that would be the greatest reward. Again, thanks to all for the wonderful thoughts and comments. I'm happy that you have enjoyed the "Bandit Peek". |

Sudo's Bandit Peek is a thing of devastating beauty. Extremely clean, puts you way ahead, and a joy to perform. This peek allows the operator to focus fully on presentation.
I'm sure we've all seen many effects that are not nearly as good as the Bandit Peek being sold over the years. I am continually amazed by Sudo's brilliance and generosity to the mystery arts community. Thank you so much, Sudo. Doug

Race, I get your confusion, but this wasn't a trivial decision; I have my reasons. When it comes to Sudo's effects, I've found I prefer to have a simple and honest exchange--his creative work for my money. I just bought Geocaching and Things That Cannot Remain Forever Hidden, so we both benefitted, and I'm very happy. If things continue to go up on his site, I will continue to purchase. I've said for a long time his stuff is truly brilliant and game-changing; I have nothing but praise for it.

Sudo did the peek for me today over Skype. Then Skype bugged out on me, before I could see how it was done. But I can say that the peek flew right by me. I did not see anything amiss, and I am quite used to spotting these things. So congratulations to Sudo on this very, very deceptive full card peek.
