Invest in the Safwan Papers. Particularly the effect 7. I forgot what I paid for it, maybe 15 bucks. That one effect alone will justify the cost. It's as good as propless gets.

Thank you.

7 has now been released as a stand-alone, by Amira and I, as "Seven Plus" which is the original routine, as well as additional handlings and thoughts. (Links in my sig)

I am very pleased that you like it!

Bryn

It's my goto impromptu. Just enough clever thinking to make it easy to do and memorable for the spec. Clean and impactful. I guess I'll have to look up the new handlings.

It's a clean and ingenious verbal force of a playing card. I've used as an alternative to my usual eq sequence.
Every problem contains the seeds of its own solution. Unfortunately every problem also contains the seeds of an infinite number of non-solutions, so that first part really isn't super helpful.

get and keep playing with it. Soon you will realize the value despite what some may think is quirky. It's so natural once you perform it a few times.

I may even buy it again!

All psychological forces can be worked propless. Just ask your participant to "think of" blah blah and your golden.
No matter how many times you say the wrong thing, it will NEVER be right.

If I'm not responding to you? It's because you're a TROLL!

I also really like performing 'Seven', particularly after I got more comfortable and natural with it, as John C says. The same with Joshua Quinn's 'Deckquivoque' from Paralies.

These are both great routines involving 'nothing' but the spectator's imagination.

A really good system for completely and truly propless readings would be "Invisible Gemstones" by Enrique Enriquez. MEV pro shop has it.

Surprised no one has mentioned PK touches???

Also, I've used JQuinn's dequivoque when I have almost nothing (pen/paper).

Also, I've done tequilla hustler with no object.

The two ideas by Neil Scryer in his early material are golden. Mind reading at its finest when pulled off properly.

Cloud Nine, Imbalanced, The Subtle Swindle, Quinnfluence, Superb Superheroes, Disney Dynamite, Train Tracking, etc.

The list of my material is pretty substantial and it all actually works and is entertaining!

All the best,

I particularly like your 'Forward Thinking' effect Atlas. Very reliable, engaging premise and, fun to perform.

Oh yeah, that one too! My homophone presentation on that one is pretty great, one of my personal favourites too.
