Hi,
So far I've been reluctant to the thread magic, don't know why ... and I want to change that. I want to start with IT and IET loops and thought about getting: - Vectra for IT - The Trinity System foe IET. I like the idea of tying my own loops to avoid being in constant fear of breaking my loop while practicing. Unfortunately it's sold out everywhere.... Any objections to my suggestions? Are there better options? Thanks everyone!! cheers

Everything you need can be found here - https://www.emagicsupply.com/index.php?main_page=index Vectra elastic mono and EVE (both IET's) come with a video teaching how to tie tour own bands.

I absolutely would have but since your post stated they were out of stock everywhere and I recall another thread not so long ago that someone waited a long time to "finally" get one, I just "assumed" they may not be making them anymore (they make many high quality tables and such that it might have been dropped from the line, I am just guessing though). I totally stand behind their "System" if you can get it but I have stated often in the past that I still use Fearson's "EVE thread" as well as Fearson's "Mono thread" (both IET's) using the system to tie my bands. I have also used other methods such as Fearson's and the $1000 Knot from Penguin "Before" I got my Trinity System. I just find my Trinity System much simpler and more versatile with any IET (including Legacy).
I simply figured that if Trinity System was out of stock everywhere, Fearson (My go to for IT) would suffice as he has great IET lines too. I also fully support The Amazing Joe-Joe's WebSpinner and Super Spinner products (but they are 'more' for static line use).

First of all thanks a lot for your input, I really appreciate it.
Well I ordered the Legacy Thread, that was (hopefully) in stock, according to his website. However I didn't get any response from him yet. Neither on email nor my PM to him .... so let's hope Regarding your suggestions: The difference betwen EVE and MONO is the strength, did I get that right? Is there one that is less visible than the other? Thanks again!

Yes, the mono is less visible. The EVE is a 3 strand product that can be used full strength for heavier items, or strip it to two strands for middle weight and use the 1 strand for IET Elastic bands. More versatility with EVE in my opinion. Yigal makes and Sells a good IET but I will not support him due to the troubles he gave people using the word ”Loops” in their ads. He actually paid to Trademark that name but from everything I read he went off the rails on some. I also had 2 original Tarantulas and they both failed in less than a month.
I do hope you get the Legacy, it too is very good. I also hope Subdivided did not stop production on the Trinity System. I actually was on emagicsupply last night and grabbed a pack of both Mono and EVE as well as several other items I needed to stock

Thanks so much. I think I, too, will get both EVE and Mono and just try it. Do you know how many loops I approx get from one order of either EVE or Mono? Let's say I tie normal sized loops?

Forgot to mention, DON'T TAKE THE EVE OR THE MONO OUT OF THEIR BAGGIES before watching the vid. you can ruin it very easy if you do not know EXACTLY how to handle and remove it from the card. Also do not touch the main IET that is wrapped around the card, Steve explains why in the video.

Thanks Poof-Daddy, really appreciate all the help you gave me. Just ordered them - 1 package of each should give me plenty to practice with, right?
And unfortunately no word from Sebashtion regarding his Legacy.
