I've been hearing quite a bit of buzz about The Rebel CTW. It's been recommended by quite a few workers. Anybody have an opinion on it?

I heard Will Houstoun, along with other workers, have endorsed it.

I believe it will also be available from Tannen's.

I bought one last week because I have, over the past year, fallen hard for the ability to have something be inside a sealed envelope. I have the JOL plus wallet and the Harry Robson HOW Wallet but when I saw this and how elegant and small it was I just had to have it. I was thinking of getting Looch's Blink wallet but I currently use a "to envelope" feature more than what one would use Blink for.

It arrived on Friday and I am glad to say I wasn't disappointed. It's a smart, modern looking leather wallet and should be perfect as an everyday wallet. The thinking is excellent - Gerard raises several points in the video that I hadn't considered but which all add up to making this a wonderful tool. The instant reset feature is especially brilliant and is a level up from the Harry Robson concept.

I can't recommend this enough.

To add - I'm not a shill as I paid for this. A cursory glance at my other posts will show I aim to be honest to the point of mischievousness.

Thanks David. It looks great. I'm a big fan of the Harry Robson HOW Wallet (It replaced my long standing JOL for corporate work) and I'll be giving this one some serious thought.

I’ve seen it in person and it’s superb. For me, it’s the answer to card yo wallet using a bonsslope. I hate the massive O’connell wallet.

I bought the Peek Wallet from Tannens when I was visiting a few months ago, it's a lovely wallet and a great upgrade from the original Jaks wallet (in that there is space for holding business/credit cards and folded up money).

Hi Guys/Girls.
My name is Gerard Kearney, I'm the creator of the "Rebel Wallet. Been a full-time professional magician for the last 10 years and fortunate enough to work at some nice venues. I was unhappy with the choice of CTW available to me so I set out to create my own, something that reflected my performance persona along with a fully functional everyday wallet. Many prototypes later I ended up with the Rebel Wallet. Firstly the size and craftsmanship were first and foremost. I take pride in my appearance when working and I didn't want that to stop at a wallet.
The first thing professional magicians will notice, there are no pockets or cuts in the leather, it's a slim, elegant design. I have been working the wallet in for the past 5 years at well over 250 gigs per annum and it works better than all other wallets I have tried, including the popular CTW.
Its the first wallet that I know if that you can set up or reset on the front of the spectator with nothing to hide, and because there are no pockets or cuts, you can even hand off the wallet to the spectator and have them remove the envelope.
I have just launched my online shop and sold a lot more than I first expected. More humbling is that some of my customers are top professionals. In the first week, this is what they are saying-

"The Rebel wallet is a game changer"- Noel Qualter
"Very soon, every professional magician will have this wallet in their pocket, I cannot recommend highly enough" - Martyn Rowland
"Just received your Rebel Wallet, Amazing" - Rob James
" Best wallet I've seen in 40 years"-"Paul Gordon

It's an obviously elegant wallet, so I hate to even ask for sounding insulting, but can this be an everyday hip wallet? I know they get bent in the back pocket, but it would make a difference for buying. (Whoops, just read that you can on the site. But can the load be done comfortably in the back pocket as well without arousing suspicion?) And as for the 10 envelopes included, is it easy to create more?

Thank you for the Café discount, very generous as well.

Good questions Nathan and your not insulting at all!
The leather is very soft, and if you constantly sit on it, you will mould the shape. But to be fair this is aimed at a professional market, for workers in a working environment, I use it in my jacket pocket as in the video. The wallet is as easy as another wallet to load with a hip style, again I don't use the hip but if you're used to doing it you shouldn't have a problem.
I should have envelopes for sale on my site soon, they also work with medium size bonsolopes.

I hope this helps you out!

Thanks again for your interest.

Regards
Gerard

Just realised, I had a few different promotions running at the same time which actually work together resulting in huge savings. Even though it was an error, rather than change it, I’m going to leave it there for a short period!
If you go onto www.secrettannery.com and select “buy both and save” and use the coupon code above in the thread, you will end up saving over €40!
Just came to my attention this morning!

Feel free to avail!

Hi Dooblehorn,
What do you mean a true hip wallet? Bii-fold?
It will fit nicely in your pocket!
It’s works fine on mobile and desktop. I’ll look into tablet now. Are you on android or iOS?
Thanks for your interest!
