Received my new Mayfair wallet today. Lovely bit of kit. Nice leather. One question, the top slit where the peeked card goes into isn't level. Not that it's a major issue. Anyone else have the same?

Thanks Peter. It's really not a problem as I said, just something I noticed. It actually makes putting the card/billet in easier because of the subtle slope. Maybe something to build into future designs.

I am loving it. The leather is just beautiful. It feels great in the hand and just looks classy. It was also unbelievably kind of you to offer the masterclass for free, so much time and effort went into the production of the evening. Peter, you are a star.

Only issue for Me is one of the sides is too tight for My Business Cards...... will order different sized cards next time.

I expect there will be a Mayfair V1.1, similar to the SAW V1.1 where design changes were made to address some of the issues with the original SAW. Out of intetest, did Tony Curtis make these wallets?

Thinking back I had the same isssue with my black V1.1 that I purchased a few years ago. Not an issue for me, I also “expanded” the index myself.
Because i’m very pleased with my V1.1 as an everyday wallet, I ordered the Mayfair this morning! |

Correction: I modified my F1 Nitro (replaced that with the SAW). However as kissdadookie mentioned in the above post, the Mayfair has the same design as the V1.1.
Every leather wallet I ever owned gimmicked, magic or normal we’re pretty “tight”. It’s leather and will naturally “wear” and function better. When the space is too big you’re cc’s, bc’s would fall out very easily. If you still would like to have that 1mm, take a fresh sharp x-acto knife and carefully add it yourself. |

The original SAW had slits 2mm wider than a standard business card (in the hidden section). The bottom of that section wasn't glued, meaning business cards could be pushed down far enough that they didn't peek over the top of the wallet. I'd like to see those features brought back when the next iteration of the Mayfair is produced.

Ah right, yeah it is definitely the same. I have both. Everything else is spot on but I don't use use the index for an index so the ability to keep a few business cards there would make it perfect for me. Might look at taking a knife to it.

I am in the UK and have our standard size business cards, and they fit in the index section of my Mayfair Wallet with no problem at all.
