As soon as I saw bobkohlermagic and proline in the first post, I kind of lost interest, because I knew it would be high priced...does anyone think $250 is a bit high? Apparently not.

Anyone heard anything yet as to when it will ship exactly?

The first batch is scheduled before October 1st according to the ad.

Got an email stating that the plexiglass is done, one gimmick has arrived and they are waiting for the last gimmick to come in and that it looks as if they are on schedule to ship the first batch by October 1st. Though, the email also said that the last gimmick will need to be quality checked which would be the only reason that it would not ship being the second gimmick was not perfect.

Considering the cost of the item I would have expected some kind of communication between the company and those who have preordered.

Just a little odd they have communicated with anyone.

Starting to get quite common these days when you preorder something - they take your money and you wait and wait.
I think its time that the money isn't taken until your item is ready to be shipped.

Just curious Dr.Rob, did you preorder this? Because if you did you would know that they sent an email saying do not email them asking when it will be shipped they will be in touch with updates and when it is ready to ship. The pre-order debate has been done here many times and everybody knows what they are getting into when they pre-order. We all make our own choices and know the consequences of pre-ordering. Now if I don't get an update in the next week then I will be a little concerned. But it was my choice to preorder so no reason to come here and complain about pre-ordering.

I agree Daren, I do not mind waiting but would hope the seller simply sends an update when it starts getting close to the time they initially stated. Since the last email update stated that they are waiting for the last gimmick to arrive and it's due to arrive at the end of September, I would hope that by the end of this week an email update is sent out. We shall see.....

Really creative method. A lot going on behind the scenes. Expect to practice a lot. Unfortunately, practicing will be a tad tricky without someone to hold the glass. Teaching is good but I expected a little more from Kohler. Some under the glass footage would have been helpful. Gimmicks seem well made. If done well, no one could ever figure this one out. The method is just that creative. If you take the time to master this one, you will have a near miracle at your disposal.

Hey guys, if it helps, I stood two shoeboxes on end to practiced and it worked great for me.

Best

I got this and have practice for an evening, so far. There is some tricky moves to make it look good. I think it is easier than James Lewis's routine and more practical (portable) than Dean's Triangle. All three routines are very visual and very magical. They each have their place and, if well done, are miraculous. I personally prefer Dean's Triangle because it has more visual interest and a bit more variety to how the effects are presented. CTG is clear, linear, and involves the spectators in the end, all the elements of a great close-up effect. The draw backs are some nacky moves (that I have had to modify...and I am a "coin guy," AND ,at the end, the specator is holding a gimmick----CHOOSE YOUR SPECTATOR WELL! If I were to pick the ONE that is easiest and suitable for most skill levels, it would be Dean's Triangle. CTG is DEFINITELY not a self-worker, but definitely well-constructed (gimmicks and routine), professional caliber, and a stunner (I think..I have not performed it for anyone). To be honest, I actually did not appreciate it that much on P and T..couldn't see that well. I bought it on the reputation of Bob Kohler (think U3F,which is awesome). I am pleased with my purchase.
