I have not had the time to practice to per-fect the one knacky move because I have done a lot more standup gigs lately than strolling and the shows have been uncharacteristically repeat shows where I have had to add some new material. Though, I have a few wedding cocktail hour gigs on the books now which I plan to use this. The penetrations and visuals are really great with this, especially live. I feel this routine performed flawlessly will be one that people definitely will talk about long after the show.

Not so sure I agree with your statement about if the trick is expensive it should work immediately without any practice. After purchasing the Magellan levitation which was quite expensive I couldn't perform it flawlessly the first day I got it. After receiving the dancing hanky complete Act which was quite expensive I couldn't perform it the first day I got it. This actually took quite some time to master and perform the routine flawlessly.
CTG will work and will garner amazing reactions if performed flawlessly which is simply going to take some time.

I agree with RNK here. Expensive doesn’t mean self working. I just doubted the practicality of this trick for workers which RNK obviously is. If it works for you, great.

I was waiting to get the "moves" (mainly one move) down first before searching for a "tote bag" of some kind to easily transport the glass. If anyone who has this and have found something practical to carry the glass in, please post what you are using and where you found it. It would be much appreciated! RNK

Pegasus just won't let up on this one! That's why we love him though.
I was interested in this one too but figured it would be one of those routines that would take a lot of practice – which I love doing and have no issue with – but at the end of the day, after all the practice, I wouldn't feel 100% confident performing. Too much could go wrong if it is not spot on perfect every time. So for me, it wouldn't be worth the investment of time. Hope you work it out RNK and get good mileage out of it. |

Wow , fantastic trick - definitely an evolution of this plot. Had to watch the performance a couple of times to realize what was going on. I even thought about a gimmicked glass before I realized it is actually nothing new except for this wonderful and perfect handling.

For those who are now performing this, how many hours of practice did it take to go from arrival to confidently performing it? What's the learning curve?

Hi
I inherited this along with other stuff from a family member who has passed and after talking with Bob I thought I would ask here as he is closed ( Maybe for good). The 'turtles' provided are flawless in execution. However since I may not be able to get more if I lost them for any reason, I tried the routine out with other brands ( tango/Kueppers). The 'attraction' through the plexi was to weak fir it to work right. Does anyone have a solution or know of any other available sets that are strong enough?. Like I said if Bob decides not to re-open and they get lost as happens once in a blue moon it would not be useable. I apologize for being vague about the gimmick...though I am sure you guys understand out of respect for the creators it would be unwise to go any further (besides I think you all know the general gimmicks involved). |

Some of the custom guys like Schoolhouse or Lassen can add strength to a turtle.

Bought this but never even played with it. Now I can’t find the coins. Typical for me.

I have been working on this since I received it and I have to say- I really like it! I am ready to take it out for performance and I believe this is going to be a huge hit for the right situation. Yes, it was an impulse buy for me as well but it's one that I am actually happy I made, lol.
