I'm working on a snowstorm finale to my classical Japanese samurai dance. If I begin with tearing up white sheets of paper and the actual snowstorm is red or mylar, does this enhance the illusion because there has been a color change in addition to the
obvious transformation or does this detract or confuse the audience? What about combining colors together? We're talking about crowd that hasn't seen much magic and the ending is an unexpected surprise. They're not expecting any magic at all. Thanks for your help everybody! |

Hey,
Personally, I'd leave it whatever colour the paper you tear up is. Snowstorm, as far as I'm concerned, isn't supposed to be a colour changing effect. Plus, when have you ever seen red snow? -- Topher |
