I assume you're referring to the Mac Magic item. I don't care for it, and I don't think it's necessary.

If you mean Mint Condition I've got it but don't use it. The shell isn't very deep because it needs to accommodate the insert. Which means when the coin is nested in the shell it's about 1/3 deeper than normal. Something I'd rather not have to deal with in close-up conditions. Stick with a regular Johnson or preferably a Todd Lassen shell.

Ok just wanted to know. But isn't there another thing called a "cut down". I think it was that. But pratically it is a half dollar that is shaved around the edge so that you could fit it into a shell instead of a expanded.

Yes, but that's a completely different item. It has its uses, but for general coin work, the EXP is usually (not always) preferred. I have a couple of routines using what you refer to as a "cut down" along with an Expanded shell over the nested shell and half.
