Looks decent. Hadn’t heard of it before this rerelease. I just always find myself wondering if the correct choice out of four options is really that magical. I think I’ll stick with twisted sisters.

Just for the record, this is way better than a "1 out of 4". It is 1 out of 16, there is no equivoque (and it can be repeated). Not for everyone, but it replaced B'wave for me years ago. Just my 2 cents.

Also hadn't heard of this one before, love the look of this, seems a great alternative to B'wave which I love performing.

Already out of stock at Monster Magic, grrr will have to be patient and feed my packet trick addiction when its back in.

Received mine today from Vanishing. Very much a packet effect man, this is going straight into my EDC as a alternative to B'wave and sit alongside Odd Quad. It's a refreshing effect (after being unavailable so long), with great audience interaction potential.

Can anyone who has this explain to me in the tutorial why Nick recommends spreading the cards the other way? Doesn't seem like it makes a difference to me how the audience perceives it.

The specificity in the spread direction is not to present the cards a certain way to the audience. The spreading from right to left ensures that the index closest to the performer will be revealed in the spread. Since the instructions are set up to have the named suit on the bottom or closest to the magician, you need to spread the cards that way for the reveal to work. Now it would not be impossible to spread them in the normal way (for right handers) in the early part of the trick, but then you would be changing the spreading when it came to the reveal. They are shooting for consistency so it makes sense. Now you could certainly train yourself to do the entire trick based on a left-to-right spread for everything, in which case you would always want your target suit away from you.

Thank you so much for your time, DelMagic. It just wasn't clear in the tutorial - Nick says "because we always want to be displaying the cards so that the audience can see them" which raised my eyebrow since I think everyone else has been performing it the other way.

But I imagine he meant what you explained.
