I remember Peter White used to make silks in the past before his death. I know a lot of silks are made overseas. Just curious, who in USA are making silks for magicians?

Wonder Imagery is a great suggestion.
For picture silks, I also look at the ones from Laflin Magic and from David Ginn. David Ginn works in partnership in Goshman, and has brought to market several unique designs that you can get through him, or through your favourite magic dealer. And there are a few different sizes of the same picture silk (45" & 18"... some are 36"). Like Happy Santa, Ta-Da Rabbit, Peacock Explosion, Happy Elephant, Butterfly (different than the Rice's reproduction design), etc. I think it's Laflin Magic that brought to market the current Headless Cartoon silks (set of 4), Heart Silk, Caterpillar Silk, Skunk Silk, Skull and Crossbones, Rabbit and Hat set, God is Love, Jesus, and others. Jamstone magic also makes / sells some special silk designs. - Donald

Thanks guys. I just purchased a Happy Birthday Blendo from Wonder Imagery. After I purchased it I just noticed they are in South Carolina. There might be a delay receiving my order because of the hurricane.

I import/export silk for magicians but these are custom made for me in China. We supply the pros around the world but do not sell our silks through dealers in the USA.
Most of the working pros know our DoveLite Silks. |

What about in the UK? Can anyone point me in the right direction here because I don't see many different ones and if those I haven't a clue which are good.
Should I go with Goshman? Thanks, Paul.

If you are in the U.k., then just stop at one or all of the magic shops you have in the U.K. I think you have more magic stores then the U.S. Just don't get the India silks, they are very pale in color, and for some reason, they cannot make them an actual white color. |

Thank you so much Bill. There aren't many magic shops where I am, but I'm going to go to one nearer London next month when I can get away to drive down there. Bob Sanders all the way!
Much appreciated.

Practical Magic in the UK has a pretty good selection of silk magic. Some of it is imported from the USA, and some are their own unique products.
https://practical-magic.com/collections/silk-magic I ordered a non-silk magic item from Practical Magic back in December, and Gary provided excellent service. - Donald

Harold Rice’s delightful daughter Ruth has a nice inventory of her dad’s silks which were beautifully made in Japan. Go to the website below and enjoy your shopping experience!

Major changes are expected for silks available from China. Color availability is expected to be reduced and prices could also be changing. (I am the magicians' silk importer. DoveLite Silk)
