DMC Elites: I think they are wonderful. I have stacked my marked deck in a memorized stack order, so I can do very strong effects now.
By the way, what is your favorite effect(s) with a marked deck? I´m curious... |

I am curious as to when they are going to release the Non-Marked Forest Green decks discussed earlier. I got a brick of the Green Marked and want the regulars to use with them. I was happy to see that they said Green would be the first release (since I bought a brick of the marked) but no mention since.

That would be cool actually, especially if they were reasonably priced.

Not so long ago I read there was a new publication purely on the subject of stacked decks. A quick search yielded nothing but if anyone can suggest what it might be, I'd be grateful. Also, in answer to the above, the main effect I perform with the DMC Elites is one by Looch. The gist is that the spectator says the suits out loud and by listening and watching closely, you can determine the suit. And similarly with the values. The routine plays really strongly and is very entertaining. Neil |

The spectator says the suits/values out loud? Did you mean to say that they think of the suit?

Wow, I assume that Neil meant that they say them out loud, but I really like the idea of just having them think of it...

They say the suits out loud, then the values. The premise of the effect is you look for and listen out for tell tale clues - a drop in voice, inclination of head etc.
It is, in a way, similar to the brilliant Cogsym effect which is another that gets great reactions. Neil |

Love the Marking system on these! Totally untraceable if you don't know how to look for the marking system. Thumbs up

I like these cards a lot. Got the forrest green a while back.
The brilliant thing is the more you trying to find the marks the less you see. Yet only a glance and you se them when you know how. Non marked card sounds lie a great idea especially if they would be less expensive Does anyone know if there will be red cards as well? I know there has been but I have not been able to find any. |

FYI: DMC Elites Rouge decks still appear on eBay from time to time at inflated prices--somewhere between $45 and $75 (!) I have one that I handle lightly and keep in a protective plastic case when I carry it around to use; also a couple of sealed decks in storage as an investment. Check eBay from time to time, and you may get lucky and find one for sale. I prefer the older red/rouge cards to the green ones for the slightly reduced contrast of the patterns against the white background; also because the greens with their extra markings are so "busy" that I feel a spectator might accidentally discover the patterns more readily than with the simpler rouges. --Just my 2 cents' worth.
