I'm creating a routine to tell the story of the three little pigs. I'll have three helpers come up and after giving them piggy ears I want to add some 'magic' by producing Straw, a Stick and a Brick.
I've got a foam brick to produce from one helpers shoe, but I'm stuck for ideas on how to produce some Straw and a stick with magic. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks in advance, |

You might want to use a change bag for all three.

One thing you might want to try using instead of actual straw is CHAMPAGNE STRAWS.
When Disney filmed THE SCARECROW OF ROMNEY MARSH, they used CHAMPAGNE STRAWS rather than real straw. |

David Ginn has a jumbo magic hat that can hold all three. Each one can be produced after showing the hat empty.

If you can't find some twigs in your backyard, try the local parks. Both of those can be produced from your helpers' shoes, just as you do the brick, or you could find them in the helpers' pockets or hats. You might get some more ideas from several e-Books we have published on the plight of the Three Piggies: https://www.magicnook.com/WIZj16/WIZ16-08ThreePigsPocket.htm https://www.magicnook.com/WizJournal/WJ-32ALL.htm and scroll down to item 09 I like the idea of "Piggy ears". Where did you find them? One idea on dressing up kids as helpers, invite the kids up with an adult from their family and have the adult assist therm with dressing up rather than doing it yourself. Fewer problems later, legal wise.

With an adult family member helping to dress them, you can include the tail! It will be a big hit in all the photo opportunities this idea generates.

A hat like this might be more appropriate: https://www.spirithalloween.com/product/......3376.uts

Some great ideas Jim and Dynamite, I'm thinking of comedy gags to do with Straw and sticks. One idea that came to mind was to colour/tape over a foil appearing wand and seemingly pull it out of one of the helpers ears.
Jim I actually bought the Wizards 'Three little pigs in their hands'- your creations are always genius! |

Maybe a 8 foot appearing straw and joke about how "opps, I meant straw, not a straw!"
