An amazing close-up item that plays big!
After receiving great reviews from the magic community, we have decided to make this fantastic routine more portable. This version will fit into your palm easily! Based on the creative mind of Kai-Fu Wang, Bond Lee has improved this routine. Tic-Tac-Toe is a classic paper and pencil game between two players. Now it turns into an interactive game between the magician and the audience. Each player takes turns drawing O's and X's on a 3 by 3 grid. After completing the game, the magician reveals a surprise ending! Contents: The board: constructed on a single piece of acrylic plastic, extremely portable. Total of 9 pieces of O's and X's are supplied. A piece of metal is supplied, which can be placed inside a card box and thereby serve as a holder. You can customize the prediction as you wish, for example: Finale of a mentalism routine Message Photo Company's logo Note: The size of the acrylic plastic board is 6cm x 6cm. Can you customize what the reveal is at the end? I saw an "I love you" and "Mona Lisa" in the trailer. Does it come preprinted reveal or do I have to print those images and insert them behind the pieces?

How quickly/easy is it to change the reveal on the back (could a worker change the reveal a couple of times when out for the evening?)

Please don’t yell at me for this question, but is there something special about the workings that makes the cost $60?
I like it and am seriously considering buying, but am a little on the fence in regards to the cost... |

When you see this you will understand the cost it is very well made.
I can’t see anyone making their own anywhere near as good without specialist machines. This could have been priced higher, I would say it’s good value along with the tutorial as well.

There appears to be a puzzling inconsistency in the video demo and I'm wondering if anyone can explain what I'm seeing. At 25 seconds in, we see the X's and O's being placed in a clear perspex box. But 3 seconds later, with the game completed, we see the magician holding the unit which now seems to be much thicker and no longer transparent. Am I mistaken? Or are there additional parts to this product that the audience gets to see but are withheld from the promo? If so, that may directly and significantly affect how deceptive this effect is.
I'm perfectly willing to admit I'm mistaken, but then what am I seeing at 28 seconds into the promo?

The plaque or "box" that the pieces are placed onto is transparent. The pieces have an X or O on one side and the reveal photo on the opposite side. So when all the pieces are in place it is covered by the pieces and of course is no longer transparent.

I have the Tic-Tac-Toe Pro (Parlor) version. I see that there are a few very reasonable queries coming forth from our members, so is my short review.
The prop is very well designed so as to pack small. The quality of the materials used is exceptionally good. Bond Lee's teaching and explanation is very systematic and logical - almost perfect! Bond Lee is gradually proving to be a perfect teacher. The over all effect, as one can see in the demo video, is mind boggling. For a successful outcome, one needs to FULLY understand and learn the basic governing principle as well as the logic. And I must say that Bond Lee does this very nicely by emphasizing the spots where one needs to pay attention. The initial learning curve needs a bit of your time and efforts, but once you have learned and understood the basics, you will be performing a small miracle - Each and every time without fail. And now on to answering a few queries raised on this thread. Some may have already been answered but still I will repeat and TRY to answer:- * Can you customize what the reveal is at the end? Yes, you can either use the pictures you get with the package or use your own pictures - You have a choice. * How quickly/easy is it to change the reveal on the back (could a worker change the reveal a couple of times when out for the evening?) The picture can be easily replaced but it needs a bit of tender love and care. However you do need a bit of time in privacy (for me it takes about 10 minutes or so). * . . . is there something special about the workings that makes the cost $60? As I visualize, to make the base board as well as the tiles is a time consuming process and must be done with precision. Also say for the Mini version there are 72 magnets (as I see it in the demo video but I might be wrong - as you know I have the parlor version) which needs to be aligned (in there proper orientation) and fixed. This needs time and efforts. Also a lot of time and effort must have gone into producing the excellent and perfect teaching video. Hence IMO I feel that the price is right for a precision made prop, the teaching video and for the mind-blowing effect. BTW, the huge number of magnets play no role in the working/outcome of the effect. * What’s the learning curve on this like ? Please allow me to repeat what I have said in my short review. The initial learning curve needs a bit of your time and efforts, but once you have learned and understood the basics, you will be performing a small miracle - Each and every time without fail. * . . . Or are there additional parts to this product that the audience gets to see but are withheld from the promo? If so, that may directly and significantly affect how deceptive this effect is. To perform the effect you get everything needed - The transparent base board + the 9 tiles + the picture(s) and of course the very well produced teaching video. That's it! For or during the performance there is nothing additional added that may/could affect the deceptiveness of the effect. It is a pure and straightforward effect. And finally I will take on NeilS' query (who IMO is a good THINKER and an experienced performer). And please let me quote NeilS' post:- Quote:
On Sep 29, 2018, NeilS wrote: Slotting pieces of the picture in the tiles is EXCELLENT thinking. I wish the creator had thought of this, it would have made replacing of the picture so much easier. This would have saved precious time when one needs to repeat the performance. And with my answer you would have already realized that this is not so. Replacing of picture is a bit time consuming and need a bit of care and effort. I do hope this helps those who are interested in performing such effects and also for those who are on the fence. And like I always say - MY thoughts please . . . P.S. In case one feels that I have given out a bit too much in this open forum, you may kindly refer the objectionable part(s) of the post for deletion please. Thank you.

You can get these from a supplier in China for about $20

It may (unfortunately) one day be possible to get copies or a knock off of the original but these will not give you the expert instruction available or a product that matches the expert attention the manufacture of this obviously warrants. It is also grossly unfair to the creators who spent so long and invested so much preparing this for release.
Although the price of this may be on the high side, from all I have read and gather, this is a quality and very well produced item. Neil |

Because more and more creators are choosing to cash in on having their products made in China at much less expense these Chinese manufacture's are making available the exact product that they were contracted to make along with the expert instruction. This isn't occurring in all cases but it certainly is increasing. Unfortunately if creators are to have these extra outside sales to cease they are going to have to find manufactures elsewhere to contract with.
