Or try your local coin shop.

It depends on where you live.

I only have information on the United States.

I have gotten interesting coins as well as the usual halves, dollars and english penneys at coin dealer, antique shops and even flea markets/swap and shops.

The latest was in Weston Missouri. I payed
8$ for Morgans and 2.50$ for Franklins.
I need to be more careful where I leave them.
Sometimes they keep dissapearing when I don't want them to. Smile

I live in the UK, and I have quite a few pre-decimal pennies, mostly found with a metal detector.
Some are in quite good condition however, and I could let you have a few.

Scott has the right idea. Now if you know coin magic already, then do some for him. Be his friend, because of the same fact that harris has. Every one misplaces things. I did magic for the coin dealer, and he said stick around and do magic for the people that are shopping. He gave me a set of walking halves. Nice Smile
