Hey everybody! Here's one of the strongest effects in my act: https://youtu.be/fezEJY9sceg

I've been closing my act with this effect for about 5 years now. And, it's finally available in my new book Game Changer! By the way, the release of the new book is MUCH closer than you think. (The champagne is chilling in my fridge. That's how close we are.)

Leave a comment and let me know what you think of The Art of War!

Looking forward to the book. I once thought of doing a game of war and always winning but couldn't think of a way to make it entertaining as well as removing the sting of losing 26 times in a row. Looks like you solved some of those problems. I've never performed the ten card poker deal for the same reasons. Can't wait to read your write up on "Casino War."

Looking forward to your version of Chad Long's "Shuffling Lesson" where you deal four aces and your assistant/punching bag doesn't even catch a pair.
Ellusionst discussing the Arcane Playing cards: "Michaelangelo took four years to create the Sistine Chapel masterpiece... these took five."

Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes: "You know Einstein got bad grades as a kid? Well, mine are even worse!"

That was a lot fun. Well done on the presentation.

Here is a 29-minute live performance of mine: https://youtu.be/lq2Rj1uf05M

I used to be quite sensitive to criticism; I am much less so now; so, please do criticize my technique, presentation, and posts. It helps me to grow, and I promise to take responsibility and not to be defensive.

Thanks Shaun. I can say from about 5-6 years of experience that this routine is a lot of fun to perform and audiences love it:)

I liked it. I also like John Bannon's "A View to a Skill" which is similar in that all cards are dealt but you make 2 predictions beforehand and they both come to be true. Totally different principles / methods but they both share a kind of symmetry to me.

Psyched about the book release being close. Will be grabbing mine up as soon as it drops. You might as well get my shipping label ready. Smile

Good luck with the new book. One of my favourite routines of yours forging ahead.Soon as I saw it and coming from a mentalism back ground.I thought why hasn't anyone thought of this before,to be used as it is.Myself included. No need for expensive methods of lifting signatures. All you need is a normal deck and a not so normal deck and you could do this 53 times.Anyone not knowing that principle is going to be seriously fooled, love it.

Jason...honestly I didn't know who you were. I watched your clips and am now watching your At the Table lecture 2016. Good God!

I'm an intermediate level. You're incredible. I'll be buying both your books within a month. I might not open them for a year because I'm not good enough.

Inspiration in all things is good. Now I know my goal. It seems unachievable...but I know it's not.

Thanks Kevin,

I'm glad you're liking the material. There's something for everyone in each book. I teach a lot of the sleights needed for the effects. I also suggest picking up the Card College series. I reference those books quite a bit in both Confident Deceptions and Game Changer. As you learn more moves, you'll get more material out of my books and many others!

Thanks Magic in Mind. Forging Ahead has to be one of the strongest effects in that book! Glad you're liking it and keep performing it as much as possible. You'll get amazing reactions:)
