I'm just so please everyone is liking this old effect. I can't take all the credit, I'm just the controller, the lathe does the hard work.
I just make the props, it's everyone that buys them that make them Special, thank you again.

The Store is Now Back Online and functioning properly. Whew, what a day.

A big thanks to Neil again for the pendulum idea. I too have a crystal and just lay everything out for examination. Goes over great.

Jake,

I think the website is back down again... I'm not just not getting the store, the website goes to a parked domain site. I've tried from my computer, iPad and phone...

Mike,
sent you a reply PM. I just checked the store and completed 2 orders. She's running smoothly. Might have been a glitch.

Thank you Steven and Para47 for your recent kind words and am really pleased my ideas have been of use.

But what is especially pleasing is that having sung the praises of the Brass Coin Casket, so many like it as much as I do. Having said it was good, it would have been embarrassing if I was in the minority and I had (inadvertently) misled.

Each morning we hold a meeting before starting the day in the shop. Todays topics included of course, the Coin Casket. My brother had an idea and we all agreed to implement it.

If anyone is purchasing one as a gift for someone, we will gift wrap for free for you. All you have to do is leave a note when you check out that you would like it gift wrapped.
Wrapping will be holiday neutral Smile , meaning no themed gift wrap, just a nice color quality paper.

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to all.

I was having trouble with the site last night too. My browser would load one page (the casket page) but trying to go anywhere else within the site wasn't working so well. The site is working fine this morning.

For those who have purchased a Coin Casket. My brother was trying other coins in the box. Soft Walkers and Soft Franklins will also work with the box.

It was a bonus that the date on the coin was the year of my birth. Maybe it means something lol.

My routine....

Present the coin casket. You know what this is? It's called a coin casket.

Years ago with the advent of the funeral parlor moriticians used to hire well.... Subpar employees. These new employees often they had the bad habit of placing the corpse in the casket upside down. Well this was embarrassing for the funeral director during the wake.

So the funeral director developed a special skill. He learned to see inside the casket from a great distance and determine whether or not the corpse was the proper orientation.

To develop this skill they used this. They called it a coin casket.

Perform the effect a few times.

In addition to the above patter you can make a prediction card on a biz card. Write the numbers 1 thru 5. On 1 3,4 place the word success.

Now simply perform the coin casket 5 times. Miss in time 2 and 5

Adds another level of mystery.

There you go. Thank me later

Nah I would stare at it and examine it a few times then, just when they're convinced I'm seeing something, I'd put it in the bag and still get it right.

I continue to use this with Verbalist and Tequila Hustler.
It makes a very strong effect and adds a second phase to the routine.
And the spectators are just amazed at it.

Yes this seems better. A 3 phase effect would be better still and can be achieved if you have or can get a duplicate coin. I think Neil mentioned something like this earlier in the thread.

I did. A three stage routine. First forcing the coin from several different ones, then showing your predicted coin residing in the casket. Then go on to the head and tails effect - and have great fun with this - before concluding with a which hand routine.
