I'd love to see an ebook on routines you can do with it.

Frederick is still working on the e-book. Holidays took just about all our time on filling orders. He wanted to include some of the ones posted here but hasn't heard back
from the authors. A Happy Healthy New Years to all! Jake Jr. & Frederick

There is supposed to be one being sent to all purchasers but I don't know when.

I’d be surprised if every magician from beginners to us old-timers don’t own one of these. What a fantastic piece of high quality apparatus.
Recommended highly! Steve |

The Coin Casket provides one of those fairly rare experiences in which the product, once received, exceeds the buyers reasonable expectations.

I agree that this does exceed expectations but can't help but think that many should be more careful about what they buy.

This is very good but the tell is not as easy as people make out. I have to handle it differently than the instructions described to guarantee a read otherwise it’s inconsistant unless given some decent movements. Sometimes you get it off the bat othertimes it’s location in the casket makes the tell harder. Olly

I also tried it for the first time today and found I had mixed results. I was getting the spectator to put it in my hand behind my back - maybe not the best idea.

By way of example, a lot of people perform the haunted skeleton key. In some hands it is obvious, while in others, its totally hidden. So many ways to use: pick it up and place in spectators hand, push it on your mat, etc. Like everything, even though it is easy, practice while watching TV for a little while. Best Steve

It also depends on your pitch or patter and how much time you give yourself.
If you don't make it interesting you will feel guilty and consequently look guilty. This is why magicians usually have a lot of full drawers. In the old days when we got to see an effect demoed we thought, cool I'll buy it and look like the magician in the store Well when you got it home and opened it you realized, wow, I must have missed a lot of the moves he did I didn't see a thing. You mean I have to do all that? (open drawer, in it goes) haha You need a pitch for all magic no matter how "self working" it may seem or be. |

This is the first time I've heard of any inconsistent predictions with the routine supplied. I know all caskets are tested by me before they are even packaged. I just can't figure out what could be going wrong as it is a Pos./Neg. result that deduces the Revelation.
With the straight simple routine that is provided it's a no fail performance. I would appreciate an in depth explanation of the hit or miss situation in a PM please so I can help you get the most out of your prop. Kindest Regards, Jake Jr.

As I say if it’s on the edge already touching the casket when you retrieve it then you have to do more to get what you need . It’s more than doable and easy but you have to adapt once you retrieve it on occasions. I believe a vacuum is sometimes created when the lid is replaced and the air restricts what you need to happen which creates the variants. If you had a pin hole in the lid or base perhaps in the grooves this could be elemenated unless perhaps you inadvertently covered the pin with you finger. It’s still very very easy and these are tiny nuances we are discussing here.
I know I am not the only one as I have had quite a few pms about it. Brilliant effect though I love it, Olly |

Olly,
I wish all the PM's you received had come to me so I could address this issue. I just went through a bunch of coins and the last boxes and still can't find an issue. Every box is identical in specs. Unless it's the coin. A vacuum doesn't make any sense as the volume of the coin is too large to interfere with any type of vacuum forming. I still don't understand why Quite a few would contact you about it. Jake Jr
