Would this work with any quarter? I'm Canadian and our quarters are the same size as US quarters.

There is a coin shop in New Bedford here in Ma. When I get back to shore I'll stop in there and pick up a Canadian quarter
to work with. I'm thinking international boxes wouldn't be a bad idea.

Sweet. Being able to do this with a coin we have in actual circulation here would be a real benefit. Thanks Jake.

I use this with a mix of currencies forcing, by equivoque, the half dollar and then proceeding with the routine. I have found this works really well and conclude with which hand. The whole thing is like a close-up set piece.

I also would like to see this in USA quarter size. Nice quality prop simple and easy to carry. Like the 3 level plastic box in the mini briefcase idea looks great.

HI Magic Café Members! My name is Frederick, I'm Mad Jake Jr.'s brother. The E-book for this prop is coming along slowly. Just about every idea I had for the box has
already been brought up here in this thread. Some members have submitted their routines to be included in the book. What I am now planning is to release the e-book
and as more routines become available, I'll revise the e-book and update the download link for the book.

Thank you to those who have submitted their ideas and routines and they will be credited to you in the e-book.

Sincerely,
Frederick

Fredrick or Jake Jr., Any word on the little plastic boxes for the little briefcase?

In the UK there are ear plugs used for cabin pressure discomfort used when flying . These are cheap the (generic brands) but the plastic cases the plugs come in fit the job as far as the plastic container goes. Olly

I have added a little "bit of business" to my routine with the mini briefcase. SEO magic has recently added to their site the "Coin Light"

https://www.seomagic-usa.com/product_inf......_id/2263

Essentially it is a small pocket flashlight that projects the image of a Kennedy Half dollar. I am using it now in my Casket routine. In the last phase when everything is locked in the briefcase I feign difficulty in determining if it is heads or tails. Introduce the light as a mini "X-ray" device. Shine the light on the box and they see the image of the half with the heads showing... "Of course it's heads Smile"

Image

Get's a nice reaction and as many know many times these "little bits" are what the spectator will remember the most Smile. The light will only project heads so you need to have it in that orientation. However I have also turned the case over and shined it on the back and determining it is heads so they must have placed tails face up Smile. Thought I would share... of course the light could be used with just the brass casket.

Cheers,

John

Mark,

thank you for the purchase. We appreciate it.

As to the other sizes, I spoke with Jake and he said since he would be doing the 1/4 size Jim Zee Roth Set when he gets back, he would start the first run of 1/4 size Coin Caskets.
After the 1/4 box Jim Zee sets, he's going to make the $ size Jim Zee Roth Sets and will also do a run of Dollar Size Coin Caskets. What's nice too is the plastic cases and Briefcases
will accommodate both the 1/4 size and Dollar Size boxes.

On another note. People have been bringing to my and Jake's attention that there is someone selling the Brass Coin Casket on an auction site and were wondering if these were ours
or someone had copied them. These were made by Jake. Jake has a friend in PA. that is retired and lives on a meager fixed income, to help him out just before the release he sent
his friend a bunch of boxes so he could make some extra money. We appreciate everyone looking out for us, but the seller is legitimate and a very sweet gentleman. New customers
can get the caskets through him until he sells out. He doesn't have a lot of them, but he can use the money to supplement his income.

Update on the PDF I have been working on has stalled. I have come up with so many ideas only to find out they are already here in this thread already routined by other performers.
Some have been kind enough to let me include their routines in the e-book, but so far I only have a 1 1/2 pages, I'm totally stalled on this.

I'm not sure when Jake will be returning from overseas, but in the mean time please feel free to call on me for anything.

Sincerely Yours,
Frederick

That is great news about making the Coin Caskets in quarter size. I will for sure buy possibly 3 of them maybe more as gifts. Will it be a long time before these will be available?

Thanks
Richard

Definitely interested in the quarter size and fingers crossed it works with a Canadian quarter Smile

There has been a nice assortment of ideas shared in this thread. If they could be summarized on a sheet or two would make a nice addendum to the instructions... just a thought.

I really haven't paid much attention to the ideas shared in this thread only because of the mention of an ebook coming out and making it available all in one place and easier to read. Saved me from having to copy and paste and essentially make my own ebook. Now it sounds like I may have to go back and do that.

Jake asked in this thread if anyone would like their routine published in the e-book and only a couple have replied and given permission. There really isn't a disappointment with the e-book
Aligator, all the information is right here in this thread Smile
