Off the top of my head, I had one person ask if I could make their wife disappear. I said, "Yeah, I did mine, but it cost me a house, ten thousand dollars, and five hundred a month." They thought it was hilarious, but hindsight tells me probably shouldn't say it again, it was a mood is right thing.

"Can you make my wife disappear?"

"That's odd, she asked me the same thing about you."

When someone asks how I blow up all those balloons (260's), I say "the trick is to inhale every other time".

A lady approached me whilst performing close up one evening and she was quite drunk and very loud, falling all over the place and I could tell she wasn't too popular with the other guests who were all quite embarressed. she said "ok then do a trick with me" I said ok and then she said "You're not going to make me look stupid are you? to which I replied "No you're doing a great job at that already. all the people around were in fits. and she seemed to instantly sober up a bit.

I've just had an Idea have an envelope in your pocket with the word prediction on it, and inside have a card that has printed on it "CAN YOU MAKE MY WIFE DISAPPEAR" what a mind reading feat HAHAHAHAHA

When asked:-

"can you do that David Blaine did"

I reply "Sorry I do it differently - I do it with charisma"

They had a series of articles in one of the magazines where they delt with lines like that.

Can you make my wife disappear?

Yeah, but who would you find to put up with you?
I don't think so, but I might be able to make your daughter here (indicate wife) vanish!
(Look at wife, pull open sleeve) Sure, climb in.
"There's no time to lose," I heard her say.
"Catch your dreams before they slip away."
"Dying all the time, lose your dreams and you could lose your mind.
Ain't life unkind?"

To the wife, son, or daughter disappearing request,

" That's more of a mafia trick, but I've got a number for you."
"If carrots got you drunk, rabbits would be f@#d up."

How about...

Can you make my wife disappear?

I sure can. Let me see your Charge Cards.

or

You didn't really do that. You must have switched them somehow.

Hey, you're a lot smarter than you look.
You were watching me like a HAWK. How could I have?
Not that I'm saying you have beady little eyes or anything. ??ALDO??
