Check out the Neo-Rise demo at the link below..
Its a home video, but it looks like the guy gets higher to me and not like he's shrinking as someone mentioned, See what you think.

The trick is so stupid and I believe that the angles are quite bad since the camera was simply looking from up and it is obvious that the shoes are the ones "levitating"...

I heard it was a complete ripoff and I believe that for a quarter of the price you could do the same thing. That's just my thoughts on it.

Overall, I try to stay away from anything like levitations. Spectators might not know, but they are also not stupid.

MUSLE is like Pocket Levitator but not as good as Wild Levitation! It is also three times the price of Wild Levitation! I have it for sale, though to the really curious, for $50.00, almost half price.

I have MUSCLE and have had success using it. I lean to one side and don't look like I am shrinking. I set down a box or close up case to help with angles and use my jacket or a large silk I use for zombie ball. Now getting past the success of the levitation, think of ALL the other uses for the "device". Tons of other effects can be done with this gimmick. Well worth the price for the strength and quality of the gimmick even if you don't levitate with it.
Just my opinion - been using it for many purposes for a few years now. Smile

In my opinion, M.U.S.L.E. is ok. It's not that great, but I find it easier than other levitation effects. I recommend the Elevator. Smile

I actually love M.U.S.L.E., but my primary use for it is as a quick levitation to perform when doing walk-arounds for kids. When performing for kids, I do a mad scientist character, so my full length lab coat is always available for the necessary cover.

M.U.S.L.E. (or Wild Levitation) is one of those illusions that doesn't really blow anyone away (certainly not adults), but rather it entertains them. There's just a funny look about it that makes it great with the right presentation. And if your cover is large enough, you can almost go horizontal (looks hilarious).

So if you're gonna use M.U.S.L.E., then my suggestion is to do it in a comedic fashion and it'll be a hit.

But if you want "adults" to actually believe you're levitating, then I'd have to suggest another method, such as Elevator.

Hi guys,

I have the Pocket Levitator by Andrew Mayne.

Is there any difference with the M.U.S.L.E. levitation or The Wild One????

Thanx,

Yes, there is a big difference, but while M.U.S.L.E. and Wild Levitation use a completely different gimmick, the effect is the same. I have both Pocket Levitator and Wild Levitation and the latter is the way to go if you like the basic effect. The reason is because, unlike the Pocket Levitator, with WL you really do end 'clean' and there is NEVER anything to see before or after the effect. You can wear the gimmick all day, it's totally invisible, and you really do forget you have it until you decide to use it. And while WL costs more than the Pocket Levitator, it is quite a bit less than M.U.S.L.E.

As they say, just my personal opinion.

I own "The Elevator", "King Rising" and "M.U.S.L.E."
Depending on circumstances, I do the "The Elevator" or "King Rising". Both are great! I do not do "M.U.S.L.E." for the reasons that were quoted above! But I use "M.U.S.L.E" to help doing "King Rising".

It makes doing "King Rising" a lot easier! A wonderfull addition! Can't tell you why, without blowing the secret. The ones in the *know* will know what I'm talking about.

Warning to anybody who wants to by the MUSCLE levitation.

If you make it and don't like it they aren't going to let you return it. so you are out a lot of money there.

my 2 cents

I stick with the balducci if I even do levitations for anyone. the king rising needs too much misdirection, the elevator is angle sensative like the balducci, and musle is just a ripoff or wild levitation, or the other way around.

I'm wondering about routining MUSLE. Maybe you could talk about an invisible chair. Move the invisible chair into position, act like you are sitting down on the chair and lift you feet. Then the lifting of the feet while the upper body does not rise makes some sense. It may be a good idea for magic clowns.

By crouching slightly to begin with, it would seem like you are levitating your whole body, when you start levitating!

I own the MUSLE and ill sell it to some one. I'm geting the Elevator so... I personally don't like the MUSLE because if you could really levitate, would you need a jacket? doesn't that imply a gimmick, (even though there really is one) if you know what I mean. $80 down the drain... Wild lev I think is the same thing and is 40 dollars so... I WILL SELL THIS TO SOME ONE!!!!!!

I don't understand the problem there? The use of some mime techniques can easily correct that - there is a differnce between a "demo" and a "performace". People that work at magic shops are often not "performers" so if you are a performer, you should be able to do a better job.

Tilt your head forward, slouch your shoulders, and suck in your gut. When you start to levitate, correct all this bad posture and it would create the illusion your head and shoulders levitate up as well ... yes?

JoeJoe,
I totally agree! one could also bend the knees slighly to begin with. I like your idea about tilting your head and slouching your shoulders. Great idea!

I'm willing to buy it! Smile
Is there any possible way for this to happen?
How can I buy it?

Is the elevator used often by those who own it? Or is this one of those "certain condition" effects?
