My dearest friends,
I am desperately in love with this woman who doesn't seem to know I exist. I thought I might write her a love poem, although I am not much of a poet. Please read and tell me if you think this will win her heart.... I love you so Who knows what ‘ere befalls us, all? What will happen from day to day? We go to work and then come home, And then to sleep we lay. I know there is some time, between, be-twixt, When we eat and bathe and play, When we think that no one is watching us, As we go about our dreadfully dull day. But someone is always watching you, Your admirers you may never know, Who or when or why or where, Our paths will cross as we go. I’ve watched you for what seems like forever, You’ve never known I was really there. I’ve seen you brush your pearly whites, I’ve sniffed your pink underwear. I’ve watched you put your pajamas on, I’ve also watched you get yourself dressed. But you have never one time ever noticed me, I’m invisible like all of the rest. Now, I lay here quietly beside you, Not sure how much more I can take. My heart flies high and my mind wanders on, You smell different when you’re awake.

I have to say... I was relieved to find that your beloved is amongst the living.

Perhaps I should have shared the poem I wrote for my last love: So Different I loved you with a passion, That few could ever know. So many time I wanted to tell you, But was afraid to say it was so. I watched you walk the streets at day, To school, to work, to play. I longed for a glimmer of hope, Sometimes we’d share this day. You never gave me a second glance, But my love for you was deep. I crept into your room at night, Just to watch you sleep. I’d watch you toss, and turn, and dream, But would be gone when day would break. I couldn’t help but notice, You smelt different when you were awake. But then you up and left me, No warning or a sign. My hopes were dashed and fears rekindles, ‘Cause now you could never be mine. That final time I left you dear, I cursed like I was insane, I cried aloud and hurt so bad, Yet, no one knew my pain. Silently I stand amongst the crowd, Inside my heart is weeping. The thought remains you smell so different, When dead instead of sleeping.

The first poem, makes you out to look like a stalker. The second a necrophiliac. I'm not sure which is better?

Perhaps I am a little of both and stalk dead girls. lol One thing that has always bothered me is discrimination. We are always harping on discrimination of sex, culture, race, religion and so on, but whoever brings up the discrimination against the dead by the living? Nobody, that's who! Go lock up a living person in a box and bury them underground and see what that gets you, but we do it to the dead all the time and nobody complains. I will say we are an advanced civilization when we can accept our dead brothers and sisters into our daily lives. Here's a poem that expresses that very same discrimination: Your Daddy’s Bed I’ll always remember the night that we met, Our first kiss, and the night that we wed. You carried me across the threshold, that night. We made love on your daddy’s bed. Your dad had passed ten years before, And left you all his belongings. His house, his bed, his furniture, and car. The abundance filled all of your longings. I was young then and it felt rather creepy, To sleep where you daddy had died. I swore I could hear moans and groans in the night, And sometimes a scream or a sigh. When morning would come and the sun lit the room, My fears would seem to hide. But all of these years it is still too creepy, To sleep where your daddy had died. My clothes are all packed and the deal is made, There’s nothing left to be said. I’m sorry for you that your dad had to die, But he has to get out of our bed. Just explain to me why my dead daddy can't sleep in the bed with us? Discrimination, that's why. (I always turned him facing the other way when we made love so it isn't a privacy issue).

Senor Fabuloso,
I am disappointed. I thought surely that would have been worth a ROFLMAO.

I heard the wind whisper your name, I’m sure that’s what it said. I would have thought you whispered it, Had I not known you were Dead. I stood on the hillside, under the tree, You seemed to love so dear. I heard the wind whisper your name, And it filled my heart with fear. I’ll never forget that tragic day, You were taken from my life. ‘Til death we depart I promised you, The day you became my wife. When I heard the wind whisper your name, As I stood beneath the tree. I turned around to see your face, But your face I could not see. I felt the tears run down my cheeks, The salty taste was so clear. It wasn’t your name I had heard at all, Death called me in your voice my dear.
