I am not sure what it will cover but Eric is going to be doing a lecture that will be recorded and released by Penguin sometime in February. I am very excited to see what all it will cover.

I talked with Eric about this,
just the other day(!).
He assured me,
he was leaving 'the Theory' at home,..
and coming only with 'practical Practise'!

'The Pros and Cons of using Gernades, as a Final Load.'

'My favourite Bayonette/Flip-stick moves.'

'Water-Boarding Hecklers.'

'Using Artillery in your favourite Torn and Restored Cigarette Routine'

'Draft-dodging,...evading the cold.'
,...THAT's what interests ME!
I'm stuck in two feet of snow right now!...!

Eric, I wish you a fine one.
Personally,
I would love an emphasis on your Coin-work(!).
I've heard fine storys told!

All the best,
gallagher

Thanks for the mention JohnChaos13, if indeed that is your real name.

This is an exciting project! I've never done anything like it before and am looking forward to working with "Team Penguin" to make it a rewarding experience for all.

Gallagher, not sure how much coin stuff I'll do, but I hope you get something from it all the same.

Hey Eric, thanks for the mention.
I'm going to try and check it out.

When do you guys plan to have it up?

Thanks.
gallagher

p.s.: I'd really like some help with
the back palming,..clipping of coins.
Seeing some of your work, on film;
I think you'd be a great source.

Hiya Gallagher,

I'm not sure when it goes up online. I tape the performance february 12, and explanation the next day with maybe some magicians present to raise questions?

One thing I do know, Penguin knows what they're doing.

I just spent some time training a circus performer on the coins. His name is Timon, keep your eyes open for him, he's got passion and a really fervent desire to do.

On the downside, coins are not ideal props for the street. Beautiful in a theater, spellbinding up close, nevertheless, not the best for the street.

I am so impressed with Penguin, everyone of them (Tim, Nate, Adam, Brendan, Brennan, Liza, Mandy(I hope I remembered that right), Nick!, and of course Dan Harlan and his wife (Jen? sorry, forgot her name). They were all so perfect to work with, and this coming from a guy that doesn't usually work with anyone.
This show was one of the best that I've performed in some years, maybe ever. Even though I flew in that day, due to ice the day before, I was tired, sick, and not entirely in the groove, but these guys (bless them) helped me thru it all to outstanding results.
Really, the people at Penguin rock. I hope you guys enjoy the result. We'll see in a few weeks.

It was the best show I have ever seen at the Penguin studios, and I've seen, and studied, quite a few. It certainly made me a true believer of Eric's work. I was on cloud nine the whole long drive home afterwards. I was transported by the performance. dr

I must tell that I’ve subscribed back to « penguin live : all access pass » because of you and your lecture.
Gazzo being next, I thought that would be a clever investissment.

I’m on a hurry to see what you’ve done there.
To see Gallagher excited about it is a good sign. I can’t wait for it.

That was a good idea. I wish I had thought of it but it's too late now.

It was a lovely lecture that I wished continued for another couple of hours.
I really got a sense of connecting with history with a show that, though entirely Eric's, was occasionally haunted by Cellini... in the best way.

Watching this, I realized how many things I am doing I must somehow have picked up from Mr Evans over the years, well maybe not directly from him. I have always wanted do do a card trick using the hat in some way. Never was really satisfied with the routines I tried, like lasso card. This is just perfect, how could I have missed it in RRTCM? Great lecture!
