I know the methods are different, however both look similar in appearance, and I am after your thoughts on whether the chop cup by Miguel Pizarro used by Pipo Villanueva is better with Pipo's routine, or the Presti Cup and routine by Edouard Boulanger?

Thanks

There is a "stylistic" difference too... The Boulanger routine uses a wand, while the Villanueva routine does not.

In terms of cups, I like leather... while not commonplace, it seems "less odd" than a metal cup. Also, the ball inside is effectively silent.

In terms of general preference, I think most CC routines are "the same" in that its 1 object (usually a ball or die) vanishing, appearing, relocating. The Villanueva "Minicup and Balls" routine is more structured with 3 balls sequentially relocating "in to" then "out from" the cup. I don't have a Cups and Balls routine, so I practice 2 CC routines, a "typical" 1 cup, 1 ball routine, and the Villanueva 3 ball, 1 cup routine.
