In this three episode series, we present daily updates from the 2019 MagiFest in Columbus, Ohio. For those who missed it this year, some of the featured guests were Juan Tamariz (in perhaps might well be his last trip to the U.S.), Guy Hollingworth (Guest of Honor for MagiFest), Howard Hamburg, Yann Frisch, Eric Mead, and many other notables from our professional magic community. This was a good, not great, convention with a record attendance of over 1,000 registrants.

This is billed as a family-centric convention and encourages youth to attend and get involved; however, the last night's performance included an act by Harrison Greenbaum that was definitely not family friendly. So much so that some people left the theater with their children and even incited one registrant to stand up after the act and publicly admonish the emcee for allowing such a sacrilegious act on stage. We actually discuss this near the end of the third day's report.
