The eyeball on spoon is an effect that Steve Spill created and marketed.

Ah, I was familiar with Steve having a version, but did not know the spoon was officially part of it.

Well I don't know if he is on tour or not but I have been trying to get a hold of steve but I keep missing him. Is there anyone outthere who owns this effect who can give a review?

Paisa23 - I purchased Pop Eye new recently from a third party dealer. It is the one made by Arlen Studios

I would not recommend it to anyone at the $50 price. It's not believable close up. Don't know how to say it any better but it's not an extremely well made prop. I believe the inside eye cup is the ping ping ball cut to be a shell. The rest of the prop wears quickly.

It does comes with good instructions and a pull to ditch it

At best it is a good quick sight gag. If it were priced at $10 it would be ok, it is way overpriced at $50

I almost buy this but thank's god someone has remind me..
I must say I dissapointed too with the Arles's product called "Winter Spirit".
Basically it just a p..l with the plastic molded looks like a face attached.

I have tried his email and get no response. I had a problem with the Key Melt gimmick and sent it back for repair about six months ago and have never heard anything from him. Now I don't have my keymelt gimmick. Maybe he went out of business.

Just a warning but it took me 2 1/2 months and final demands from paypal to get my creature pack and parasite. When I got them the parasite tail was split in several places and the bands that attach it were both split. This rendered the item usless. I got the feeling that I was sent the sub-standard items to stop me from pushing paypal's complaint.
Until this man gets his life in order, I suggest that you take your business elsewhere for now.

Me too, I really disapointed with the WINTER SPIRIT. too pricey for the method we got. Not easy to use.
