Hey everyone!
I just posted a review of CTC Project here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZG7_CJBZcQI I think the idea behind the gimmick is really neat but I think there are things that could've been improved overall about the CTC Project. I hope this is helpful |

I was surprised that the supplied coin didn’t fit in the can opening I must admit . However it’s akin to a UK 10p which I still use for it as no layman would know it doesn’t come out as it’s about 1mm to large to do so.
In my opinion it makes it perfect as it can’t accidently come out on the first show of the signed initials, Olly |

The 10P works great in the UK-I used it all the time in Blackpool. It does fit just open the drinking area a bit more as shown in the instructional video. You can easily make your “own” coin in your local currency if you don’t have a steel coin available.
You can also and me pic of the unit and I’ll grand you access to the Groep. Pegasus, what is your name on fb? Send me a PM and I’ll get you sorted! Thanks, Peter

Anybody having trouble getting the gimmick to sit right if you know what I saying? I emailed Peter but haven’t heard back. I’ve tried 3 different cans all with the same fit which is rightly obvious so I’m a little frustrated. Any help is appreciated.

Peter: Could you send me that fix too? I don't belong to FB, so I am not privy to your secret FB group. I can send you proof of purchase too. Thanks.

I made up a few more cans today and managed to get an ill fitting can eventually.
As I am not on Facebook so I don’t know Peters method but what I did was got it as even as possible all round and then tapped it softly with a rubber mallet at the high point and it just clicks into place. If you haven’t a mallet get a hammer and a small piece of wood and tap the wood on to the high spot gently with the hammer and it will click home. Ironically if you get and fit using this method it’s even more study ie the lid won’t drop through into the can easily. I hope that helps some, Olly |

Can anyone confirm whether the fitted gimmick should be absolutely flush or should there be an even lip so to speak?
I find if it’s spot on flush it effects the range considerably but I cannot tell from the tutorial, any help would be much appreciated. Olly |

Anyone who cannot handle the initial setup with ease is seriously 'cack handed'. However, I have make two points - the actuating device is pretty tricky to handle when concealed and I much prefer that used by Wenzi Magic (which is probably no more expensive to produce?). As for the reset, I have yet to manage it without 'dismantling' the can. These points notwithstanding, I luv it!!
