Hi All
My name is Steve and I live in the UK. I have been doing magic for about 18 months, I do close-up and some parlour/stage magic.
I work for a childrens charity and use the magic to help raise funds for the charity.
have done small stage peformances at some of our fund raising events and some street magic when pot collecting. I am enjoying magic very much and wished I had got into it a long time ago. I am an old starter at 42 yrs. Like computers there is always something new to learn.

thanks baldbloke

Welcome to the Cafe baldbloke. There is plenty to learn here and feel free to share some of your knowledge too.
Curious as to what "pot collecting" is???
Does the word "munchies" come to mind at all?

Welcome aboard, Steve.
Don't worry about coming late to magic.
The Roman poet Ovid started to learn Greek when he was 90.
When asked why he wanted to learn it when he was that old, he replied that he wouldn't be able to learn it when he was any younger!

Hi Steve Smile Smile Smile
Better to be late rather than never... Although as Peter said, it is never late for learning anything. I am sure you will make quantum jumps in your magic works by the help of the others in the Cafe. So let me welcome you with a cup of strong Turkish coffee on my bill.
