I.B.M. Ring #93, located in Dubuque, Iowa is considering booking Nathan Coe Marsh for a lecture. I have downloaded Nathan's info so I am aware of
what information he covers in his lectures and they sound very interesting. I would be interested in hearing from clubs or individuals who have hosted
Nathan and how would you evaluate his presentations. Any information you could provide on Nathan to better help our club decide on whether or not
to hire Nathan for a lecture would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance and have a great day,

Hello Bob,

Thanks so much for considering my lecture for Ring 93. I so appreciate it!

I understand wanting to have as much impartial info as you can to make the right decision for your Ring, so I wanted to connect you with some folks that you can confidentially talk to about the lecture (after 15 years as a full time pro working for the public this is my inaugural tour for magicians, so it is unlikely that a lecture client will stumble across this) as well as some resources to help with your decision.

Eagle Magic in Minneapolis, Minnesota booked me for a lecture in 2017 when I was in town to headline Sunday Night Magic, they re-booked me to lecture this February when I was back in town for a casino show. Larry Kahlow is the owner of the shop and was present for both (different) talks. You can reach the shop at 612.333.4702

On 4/2 I will lecture for the Warren Hamilton Ring in Tampa. The talk is organized in part by The Magic Emporium which will host it. Following the talk, please feel free to reach the shop at 813.265.9263

Additionally, I will be filming a Penguin LIVE Act in April which will air at some point in the late spring/early Summer (my guess is May or June). That presentation will be available for purchase from Penguin if you wish to see a talk for yourself, and reviews from buyers will be publicly published as they are written.

If you would like to see the stand-up Magic taught in the lecture, my home produced video series, The Living Room Sessions can be purchased right now at I’m grateful that the material has been publicly praised by Jeff Evason, Steve Bedwell, Jon Armstrong, Bob Swadling, and many other top pros.

If you would like to get a sense for my work as a performer, my Penn & Teller: Fool Us set (1.4 million views) is available at and my current demo reel (2 minutes) is at:

I’m also a video reviewer for Genii, if any of your members are subscribers I think those columns give a sense of my thinking about magic.

If others are curious to learn more about the lecture (the business side of the tour is handled by Scott Wells) you can learn more (and view currently confirmed dates to see when I’m in your town) at:

Thanks again for your consideration, Bob. I understand how hiring a lecturer who has not spent a career working for magicians might feel like a risk, my hope is that the upside of fresh, audience-tested material that has proven itself in hundreds of real-world shows balances that out.I hope the references and info above are useful. Please feel free to reach me, publicly or privately, if there are any questions I can answer for you.

I look forward to seeing you in Dubuque!

Best Regards,

Nathan Coe Marsh
