Hey guys,
Just got this about 2 hours ago, and had a read. This is perhaps, the easiest exact birthday divination method that exists out there. It is so easy, you will want to try it out immediately after purchasing. You get a 20 page pdf, with everything you need to know to nail their exact date of birth. No complicated process, and you are done before you even begin. IF you are a fan of Fraser's work, this is a no-brainer. May I add, that this could fool everyone, due to the fact that the method is really well hidden. Nothing to see, not see through, method is out in the open, but nobody will be none the wiser. I will be performing it tonight and will relay more thoughts after I have tested it some. But all in all, this is good, and easy to perform, no complicated mathematics involved at all. This is entirely propless, and no having the spectator count with his/her fingers, etc, etc. This is a worker, and something to add to your arsenal of tools to perform at a moments notice. Fraser has done it again. Thanks Alex Alejandro

What about all the previous ones that Fraser put out? This trumps them all?

I think Parker has jumped the shark. I was (as mentioned in my previous posts) a fan of his unique way of looking at things but it’s now the same old material, relying on the same old principles, to perform the same old effects and nothing changes but the ad copy - which makes him and his product sound god like. I don’t know how his friends keep supporting it. I wish one of them would take him to the side and have a word with him as he’s becoming a laughing stock. I wish he would go back to the early days in his work, it was ground breaking but sadly he’s peaked far too early, I had a glimmer of hope he was heading back in the right direction with his Hypno amnesia thing he released - also a couple of weeks ago. That was simple in method but the linguistics and way it tied itself up was clever... Then straight back to the birthday stuff. I was going to pick Opus up but this has truly put me off. I’m still waiting on video files from a book I purchased many moons ago from him, if he can’t get those files shot in all the time we’ve been waiting what hope does he have of finishing Opus? Anyway I’m veering off of topic, is this the last we will see of Parker’s Propl-less propaganda? Probably... Not David. |

I wonder how many birthday and PIN effects have been released and by how many creator's in the past three years?

You know it’s got bad when Turner has a full section on the subject and addresses it head on, on his BFF files - Even going as far as ‘actively’ distancing himself from that area entirely. Which was a wise decision. He has created a monster, which is sad. creators who use their time creating in those areas (birthdays, pin codes etc etc) could be revolutionising things if they displaced that creativity and created in other areas. There’s no denying the creativity, but actively parading in the same areas, constantly building off of each other’s work changing nothing more than a sentence is not acceptable change. David. |

I agree sometimes things do seem to come out far too frequently. There are people out there working hard on moving the art forward - people who may release their next step in progression on the particular premise a little too soon perhaps, whereas if they held it back until they have a large project, it works out a lot better.
However, I think ideas being shared also helps move the art form forward. It’s finding the fine line in between I guess. Fraser is a lovely guy and his stuff is smart for sure. I don’t have this particular project however I’m interested because I love to see our art form move forward. Not much has been released in terms of details about this one which is why I’ve held back so far. I have no use for another divination aside from research in being able to keep up to date, but also of course supporting Fraser. I may pick it up soon. |

Yeah he is a nice guy. I just wish he'd keep this iterative process to himself for say a year, and then he could release a compendium of all the pin stuff, then the star sign stuff etc...
He could even call it COM-PIN-DIUM

I like the idea of this because of this bit....
In this version you will secretly know the spectator’s exact date of birth, after giving a brief example of how readers would formulate a basis for a reading - a process you then go on to dismiss as unimportant. |

It’s a clever little colour blind / amnesia effect. You’ll likely have (in a different context) used this before at some point - That’s what made me chuckle. I really appreciated the way it had been used and how well thought out the language is and how it wraps up. You could perform this routine in a minute and a half, it’s just a simple sure fire effect that has a physical (mechanical) method and the words draped around it make it hypno appearing. Think Jermay’s ‘RGM’ but in my opinion more powerful but as simple. Don’t expecting a big life changing effect but if you’re looking for simple and straight forward then this is it - I’ve tested it and it gets great reactions. David. |

On Mar 28, 2019, MitchellK wrote: This is what’s infuriating, “His work follows the same trend”. The premises don’t change - outside of constantly rehashing Name divinations, birthdates (star signs), pin codes or guessing a playing card/ duping a drawing what has Parker brought to the table that is fresh? The first few times he had done each of these effects / premises I was excited and intrigued. Then they came out again - I thought to myself “Ok, the last lot had some new and original thinking I’ll pick this up and there was little change in linguistics or method. Then they came out again and I bought those giving Parker the benefit of the doubt and low and behold, another re-frame and more changes to the same tired old premises and routining. Then came the limited edition books, containing you guessed it the same re-frames and premises. Then more in between then and then this. Take the new dvd set, mostly filled with the same area of creation. There’s a ‘which hand’ (I already own) on that set - there is a ‘living and dead test’ (that sounds promising) and a ‘no pocket write, pocket writing’ - I cant justify 160gbp for two effects. Off the top of my head I’ve counted 10 or 11 name divinations Parker has released up until now - ‘Opus’ needs to be a new wind for Parker, it’s make or break for many of us and I’m hoping that the ‘more’ content in the ad copy saves him. It would also be nice to see Parker do his time in the trenches, in the 8-10 years he’s been on the scene has anyone seen him lecture or demonstrate this stuff outside of bars at conventions? I think that would really help shape him. Parker if you’re reading these pages then put your original thinking and creativity into different areas - I’m sure it would be breathtaking. David. |

I’m going to defend Fraser here. He has done video work for latest projects - and his dvd ‘Rapture’ was full of performances. He’s good at what he does, there’s no doubt about that. His thinking is smart and enjoyable.
I understand people aren’t overly happy with the fact he releases the same premises in their opinion, but this one is quickly becoming a thread slating Parker, which I think is taking it right off track. In terms of propless mentalism, Fraser has laid a good road for others to use and build a city of wonder upon - heck he’s already got parts of the coty and his latest work is getting better again and again. We wouldn’t have dreamed of half of this stuff years ago, and who knows what the next few years will bring from others reading Frasers work and creating their own techniques. Frasers things can also be used cross premise - the premises he selects are these premises to highlight the techniques and not a lot else is done with them after that. Back to the topic of conversation. Are there any more reviews for Oculus please |

Let’s get this out of the way quickly -
From counting, Fraser has 10 name divinations, 6 star sign divinations, 4 pin divinations, 3 birthdate divinations, 3 drawing duplications and 3 playing card divinations (29 effects in total). Which at first glance seems like a big number but as you mentioned he’s been prominent for 10 years. If we rounded up to 30 and divided by 10 it would average 3 effects a year. But that doesn’t matter anyway. I must have read (over 10 years) hundreds of different ways to s*itch or p*ek a billet and whilst I don’t use all of them there are elements from each that I have used to create my own variants. I think somewhere there has been a misunderstanding (from an outsiders perspective) here also. Fraser creates systems. Take Sonder for example that was one system that allows you to perform - 2 star sign divinations, 1 name divination, 2 playing card divinations and 1 PIN number divination. Think about that for a moment, that one system has already drastically reduced the count we made at the start of this post. I understand Fraser’s marketing is not good in terms of the timing he put things material out - but surely if Fraser’s intention was cash grabbing don’t you think he’d have thought to himself “I will create something that’s popular this week” instead of watering down his potential customer base and losing sales. I can tell you that Fraser’s intentions are good, he wants to share with people his thoughts and ideas. He’s a natural born teacher. I have seen Fraser lecture locally and he lectured in Malta (which was highly received). I also feel that a big lecture is on the cards and I agree it can only be good for him. I have talked to Fraser for nearly 3 hours over the last couple of days and he agrees wholeheartedly that should have complied these in one place and that he released them to get these premises out of his system to move on. Not many people know this but Fraser is very ocd / obbsessive in many ways - a good example is when Fraser saw a finger nail in his car footwell and for a full afternoon kept checking his clothes thinking it was still on his person. Even the smallest changes are big things to Fraser and he sees things in such a unique way. Am I fan of all of Fraser’s stuff? - No. is he a fan off all of mine? - no. But we’ve always maintained an honesty about that with each other - this post is being made from a central non-biased perspective. I feel the next twelve months you will see a massive growth in Fraser not only as a person/ performer but as a representative of his material and the timing of its release. He’s shifted his obsessive focus onto fixing things and he listens to what everyone is saying but as I’ve said before, you’re never going to be able to please everyone. Now to talk about the effect at hand. The effect is 25 quid, it’s best suited to casual performances and is very quick in nature. It sticks to a numerology reading type premise and whilst casually talking to a participant you reveal their date of birth. You don’t need to dismiss anything (As John c mentioned above) as what’s important again Fraser is providing the vehicle for you take this in any direction you want. He can’t get on the Café, which is something else that’s being resolved or he’d have responded. Let’s stick to reviews of this effect and if anyone wants to further discuss Fraser’s business create a separate thread. Pete x |

Anyone has the freedom to release anything (except a ripoff) and you don't need to like it so the release can be approved.
Let Fraser do what he feels good about, why waste your time if you don't like this or that release from him. You don't like it... MOVE ON it will make you feel better. Let it go and take charge of your life not others, respect yourself. His recent release “Seed of Doubt” made me smile and I'm thankful for him to release it to everyone. Have a great day, coffee is on me. |
