I like this a lot! I figured out what was going on in the demo and like everybody here, I imagine, knew how to get the info when not using a 'specific' deck. I really like the way the effect is set up to aid the performer in a very natural way to get what they need. I've performed my fair share of spectator as mind reader using a 'specific' deck, but I really wish I'd thought of framing the effect in this way. Nice one!

Never watched the performance of this at Penguin but my friend Mick Wilson fooled me with it twice.
I said marked deck& of course it wasn’t . I knew the principle but it flew past me & I have been in magic for more years than I care to remember. Well done Mark, this is excel& simple Mike Donoghue |

The trick in the trailer ist really good, if Mark Elsdon is the one who came up with this , he is getting my respect......,
This is a fantastic idea and a really good use for the M-Deck. Simple and practical. Not sure how the spectator experience will be , but it is really fooling and definitely something different. The teaser might be misleading, that's true but if it would be shown with the peek in full view everybody would know ...... so partly I do understand .. but I also agree that it is kind of misleading I might buy it, as I am curious how to get the peek, and that's what he sells in the end,... the method. No problem with a good peek. The only question is: is it a good peek or not ? |

Dave_matkin I think you don't realise the internet is a big place. I tried tracking the sites, but they change countries and servers every few weeks. These guys are good at hiding in the web. I don't think it'll ever be possible to track them or even get close to shutting them down. These sites are not something built like other web sites, they use clever routing techniques to avoid detection.
I've worked for over 15 years in this track and trace business, mainly trying to track financial sites, fake designer clothes and watches etc... in all that time when we shut one down, within 2 hours they are back elsewhere. Just thought I'd mention it to those who don't realise how huge the problem is. |

I am absolutely amazed anyone paid for this. It’s just so blindingly obvious as to the method, and you will never, ever borrow a specs deck so you’ll only ever perform it with a marked deck, so why would you waste your money?
