Have not got it ultra smooth but very nearly, loading from the sleeve. Just drop your arm and load.

Nice idea...
Plus BRAVO on not tricking people as well
Best,

Differences with sudden deck 3.0??
. Only have to watch the demos?? There both way different. But the sudden deck 3.0 will last a lot longer to where the flat pack you will have to repair at sometime.

Only sudden deck 3.0 (available only from Penguin) is faulty and will not fit an entire deck.

I have yet to get the perfect deployment of this thing down, but it's a lot of fun to watch appear in your hand.

I'm also getting very good at repairing it... I managed to put it down for the count the very first time I used it, and many times since then. Luckily it's easy enough to get back to working order.

You’re not selling it. Sounds like a disaster to me.

It's an impressive effect, but pretty fragile. So much so that there's handling instructions for recovering if it fails in performance (the potential failure would be partial, not effect-breaking).

I was a bit surprised to see that it doesn't come with some of the material required for repair, which would've been a nice addition in the package. Good news is that it's cheap material, bad news is that there was very little information about the specific gauge required so I wound up with a few different strengths before I found one that seems to balance fragility/strength with opening speed.
